1. It’s time to balance the giving and taking,
As I listened to the Pele report I was also hearing echos of many conversations and comments I
have heard from others over the years. Often I cannot seem to make sense of the perspectives
or ideas that people express, but in listening to the Pele report and mulling it over it becomes
clearer for me.
Often I and many of my friends think of me as more spiritually focused and this I believe to be
true for it is a driving force and search that has consumed and driven much of my life even as I
“Do” life.
However where I can see some very distinct differences that seem to be relevant right now with
the Astrological climate we are having is is in my upbringing in and around spirituality and
sexuality.
As far as I could tell there was no separation in one from the other and in fact if you wanted
GOOD sex you had better make dam sure that spirituality was also a big part of the whole
thing…….to be clear not everyone in my family sees it that way… but I was blessed enough to be
taught that at a early age.
We are human being with physical bodies and it has definite needs and wants……for the 99% of
us we are not going to survive IF we do not drink liquids pretty often, eat nourishing foods, sleep
on a pretty consistent basis and stay within some pretty stringent temperature ranges………And we
have no problem talking about sharing and making sure that we take care of this issues
because they are part of being human and surviving.
There is also much to be said for being touched, cared for, feeling loved and in general feeling
supported in less obvious ways but still just as important. Many studies have been done in the
correlation between touch and babies growing better faster and more calmly. And I believe that
this applies JUST AS MUCH TO ADULTS!!
Now we are being called to look at our deep dark corners regarding sexuality, intimacy and how
we care for ourselves in the more subtle but just as important aspects of ourselves that are
more intimate, yes sexually but even more so with our heart and soul.
There is a tremendous disconnect for most of us between the external self that we show to the
world and the inner self that we feel within and I believe it is this separation that is at the root of
many of our own issues. How can we hide from others and ourselves some of the most
important and intimate parts of ourselves and feel whole and comfortable within our own skins?
I don’t believe that we can.
When we are hungry we eat and share with others the joy of a meal together or talk about what
we ate, but when it comes to our physical needs and wants we not only keep them to ourselves
and not share but often feel shame for masturbating within ourselves as if it was something that

2. only we were doing and heaven forgive should we talk about sex and what that means to
different people.
As a example, while traveling back in the train, I talked with a woman who was a deacon or
something along that line in a church and also helped people to connect with god more as it
was explained to me. She shared within the dining car and we prayed together in her particular
way of doing it while reading from the bible.
All was great and she confided in me that the one thing she wanted was to get rid of her
physical needs for they upset the apple cart of how she saw herself within the spiritual things
she did. We chatted some more and in the course of the conversation the word sex came
up………………..she looked around very quickly and shushed me and said to speak quietly.
It was a very common and also strange reaction to me, in my way of thinking sexuality and
spirituality are not separate but rather a communion of both, however I can see many
separating them always and doing so consciously for that is reflected in society as a whole in
the way we see and use the pornographic industry and most of the advertizing that uses sex to
sell as well as much of the counseling that goes on in the world due to the separation and
compartmentalization of our own feelings and sexuality……………………We only have to look at he
headlines of the last week or two to see that it is exactly this very thing that brought down the
CIA chief as well as the one in charge of defending “our national interests” in the middle east.
It is this disconnect between the humanness and our sexuality that allows many to work within
the shadows and keep doing things for us and against us without any real opposition to it.
The abuse that is perpetrated against children by various churches, pedophiles and
organizations, against women by religious as well as state entities as well as by men.
And also the men that are abused physically or emotionally because they are told the varied
stories about what it means to be a man ie pay for the woman, open doors, don’t cry or exhibit
the very human qualities of compassion or empathy by various organizations is in my opinion
nothing more that the repressed sexual energy that we all have that is not allowed to flow within
a healthy person and finds other ways to express itself.
The Mayan Calendar is coming to a end and I believe part of that is that we are being called to
be more Authentic and true to ourselves..ALL OF OURSELVES.
If we are in truth within ourselves and express that honestly then the very Universe changes
and those shadows are no longer there for them to be used to manipulate us into doing and
allowing things that we say we do not want.
We are a microcosm of the larger society and are fools to think that “They” need to change the
system while “We” keep our own shadows safe and hidden………….there is no THEM/WE there is
only US.
They are only a unexpressed part of Ourselves and the sooner we realize, incorporate and

3. express that, the quicker we are allowing and assisting in the very changes that we want THEM
to make.
Interesting that we are being F*ck*d by the government as we are also hiding that part from
ourselves. Maybe if we instead started to make Love with our words, our intentions and our
actions the government would also start to as well.
Or we can keep complaining about how the world at large is, even as we keep hiding things
from ourselves and each other.
Our choices that we make on a very personal way changes the dynamics in a very large
way….imagine giving permission to ourselves and in turn to others by being aware, vulnerable
and ultimately REAL as to what we feel are and express.
This is my hope as well as my knowingness that is here now…..ready like a juicy orange to be
picked and enjoyed if we allow ourselves to reach just a little bit.
It’s time to balance the giving and taking,
In order to birth our true awakening,
For only by sharing our fears and needs,
Can we see what’s (really) driving you and me.

So the Solar Eclipse Tuesday set the tone for the next six months and gave us some new data
to integrate into our existing reality during that time. So the beat goes on (the heart that is) as
we continue toward 12-21, the peak of a mountain of change! Keep breathing deep as the
energy continues to intensify and don’t be surprised when the doors of perception blow wide
open to new vistas of understanding, love and compassion! …..May the force be with you ha
