1. The Dainty Dolls House: Great Plains & Friday
Wishes....
Hello dolls!! Happy Friday, I hope your week was peachy. Mine wasn't too bad, the weather
here seems to be already moving into Autumn as it's been raining quite a bit; Hence pictures
inside. I was contacted by French Connection's sister company Great Plains to see if I wanted to
pick out a dress to review, I thought it would be fun, so I said yes! Ins tead of picking a dress that
was obvious for me to pick, I chose something a bit different. I loved the strawberry pattern and
the fact that it was in yellow and navy. I don't really have anything in these colours so I picked a
clashing colour, but one that fits in well. My husband was unsure of the colours, but I do my
own thing any ways, ha!

2. I love the feel of the dress, it is neither too heavy or too thin, moves well and my favourite part
is that it has pockets on it, not enough dresses have pockets on them. The only thing I would
change about it, is the length, shorten it just above the knees and it's perfect. Other than that,
the dress is wonderful, love the material (100% cotton), the quirky design and shape. I hadn't
really looked at Great Plains Friday wishes for clothes before, but I'll definitely look more often
now when I am in need of a dress - and when am I ever not in need of a dress *wink* I hope
you have a great weekend dolls, I'll be away to England until next Thursday, so I won't be
posting until I return. I'm having a little break as I'm feeling a little run down. Am leaving the
laptop at home, but I'll have my phone. Completely shutting off for a bit, woo!! Enjoy your

3. & enchanted being.
Somewhere along the way in 2010, I decided to create this dainty dolls house, to share my love
of art, vintage & the peculiar yet beautiful things in life. It has evolved a thousand times over,
just as I have. It's no longer just a blog, but a looking glass if you like into my world. This is my
creative outlet, my everlasting painting. There is a consistent sameness in this world & I wanted
a space to break away from that. I like dressing up because I can, wearing flowers & other crazy
head pieces, books, art & adventure. Life is too short. I don't like to define myself really and feel
no need to place myself in a box. I like no boundaries & flow from day to day enjoying whatever
I choose. I might be a decadent bohemian one day, a 50's pin-up the next or an intergalactic
space doll the week after, but what is life without exploration & expression!?!
I enjoy writing about many things such as, Fashion, Art, Love, Beauty - including reviews,
Shops, Designers, Travel, Style & Creating my own photo-shoots sometimes too. I want this to
be a place of positivity and love for others who may visit. Also talking about things that are
important to me like self-love, equality and other world issues. It's an eclectic mix, but isn't a
doll's house usually that!?!
