CITY: Wuxi Community Background ——Wuxi Old Community New Community The cityscape of the developing countries have been changed dramatically. 发展中国家，城市面貌变化很大 The habit is carried on as the residents moved from the old ones to the new ones. 老社区的住户搬到新社区， 人们形成的生活习惯依然延续下去 More and more the new communities is taking place of the old communities. 老社区的存在越来越少， 新社区的建立是城市改造的必然趋势。

The perfectly designed green land in the new community make the residents there have no place to plant the vegetables, as a solution, they can only choose to plant in the balcony by themselves. 新社区整洁合理的规划，完美的绿化带，人们在户外无地种植。 人们只能种植蔬菜在室内阳台、窗台上，形成了每户独乐乐的情景 Field research New Communities 新社区——独乐乐 location: Vanke community 地点：万科

EXP:they might plant vegetables in the plastic caskets and put them in the green, which is neither clean nor neat. how about plant the flower there 那种在花盆里可以吧

11. Concept The people who have moved to the new communities carried on the habit of vegetable planting. In our system, the habit of vegetable planting is transplanted from the old communities to the new ones in a well organized way: residences of the community can full fill their dream of urban planting, while, at the same time, keep the community clean & neat. The system also works as a platform for neighbourhood communication and children's education, which provides the residences opportunities to share their their experience & enjoy their happy moments together. Of cause, the organic food, which is the out come of urban planting, can feed the residents of community & help to built a health diet.
17. 1. One day, Xiaocai saw an ad. at the front gate of the his community: " grow your vegetable & feed your community" It said on the Bulletin Board.
18. 2. Xiaocai was very interested in the idea, so he signed the application paper & applied for a piece of field from the property manager.
19. 3. Xiaocai found his neighbours who he haven't seen for years now working together with him in the same field, which made him very happy.
20. 4. Weeks after, Xiaocai's neighbour Ms.Ma found Xiaocai's vegetable were not growing well for there are a lot of pests no his vegetables.
21. 5. Ms.Ma did Xiaocai a favor: she mark the situation on the bulletin board which was at the front gate. & The situation was seen by granny Wang.
22. 6. Granny Wang. was a farmer in her early years now worked as the consultant of the program. She taught the not-so-experienced grower about the skills of vegetable planting.
23. 7. With Granny Wang's help , Xiaocai quickly handled his problem.
24. 8. As a man sows, so he shall reap. With Xiaocai's hard work, he made a great harvest.
25. 9. So did Xiaohong, who is Xiaocai's neighbour. She gave Xiaocai a beautiful pumpkin which she plant by her self, and Xiaocai also gave Xiaohong some cabbages as presents.
26. 10. The community are now holding a delicacies festival, the residents of the community are enjoying the foods they grew by them selves.
