The things that deplete the ozone layer are called CFCs they come from air conditioners or fridges. Its not bad to have AC on or use a fridge it’s like when the AC is on and you leave a door open or a window open. Please see next page for UV rays
3. Interesting facts 2 Back to sun rays those are called UV rays. Too much UV rays are what cause sunburn The ozone layer holds back most of the suns UV rays but still lets some through so we can tan. Too many UV rays are what some scientists believe cause skin cancer
4. Lesson learned So we’ve learned it’s not good to leave a door open while the AC is running. Also UV rays can cause skin cancer. There is a hole in the ozone layer. Also CFCs come from AC. Concluding the ozone layer protects us from harmful UV rays.

People are getting skin cancer as we speak, as we look at this slide if you don’t have sun screen there is a 1% chance of skin cancer if you spend like 24 hours In the sun without going in the shade or something like that even though you’ll have to run from darkness it could still happen.
