Solution
Pb(OH)2 turns into an insoluble precipitate as the reaction moves forward.The solid precipitate is
considered to be out of the solution(the system), so the reaction moves forward and Pb2+
concentration in the solution decreses.
When something soluble becomes insoluble, it is called a precipitate and the process/reaction is
called precipitation reaction.
H+ is part of the product side.We know an reaction goes to other side if a reagent of one side is
added.That is some of Pb(OH)2 precipitate will convert back to PbOH+(aq).
As H+ increases pH decreases, so as pH increases H+ decrases and reaction moves in forward
direction that is more of precipitate is formed.Opposite happens if pH decreases.
