How to create your lesson

1. Chose the topic you are going to teach them from the class list

1. Create a google doc file named : YOUR NAME - YOUR TOPIC (ie, Jonas file should be titled :
JONAS - AT THE RESTAURANT
PLEASE ENSURE YOU KEPT IT IN YOUR PRIVATE FILE IN YOUR GRADE’S SHARED
FOLDER SO IT COULD BE ACCESSED AT ANY TIME BY THE TEACHER
1. Research, take notes, summarize, edit, select sources in order to get a solid lesson which
includes at least 4 of the following elements :
a. Informations and explanations
b. Vocabulary in context (used in key sentences)
c. Pictures
d. Relevant videos (in French when possible)
e. Games: ie domino's, Kahoot, Quizlet, Socrative…
1. A piece of text (minimum 60 words) choosing one of the following forms : dialogue, interview, a
video, a powtoon, narrative, postcard, letter, a newspaper article, a menu, a poster,... this written
piece should come with a recording of you saying it.
1. Update and increment the Google slides G8 Crozon Vocabulary presentation following the following
pattern: add a section title slide with your name and topic before adding the slides with relevant
French vocabulary and its English meaning.
1. Get prepared for your presentation : plan for the duration, the explanations and the activities.
