On Sat. March 14th the historic first Pro/Am boxing event ever held in Madison Square Garden will take place. The evening of Irish Boxing will start with the Emerald Society Pipes and Drums leading the FDNY Bravest Boxing team into the ring to take on the the Garda Siochann' Boxing Club of the Irish National Police Force in the 2015 Transatlantic Championship. The two teams have squared off twice before with each team having scoring one victory. If history repeats itself it will be one heck of a donnybrook.

FDNY BRAVEST BOXERS BATTLE THE IRISH NATIONAL POLICE
FORCE’S GARDA BOXING CLUB IN FIRST EVER
PROFESSIONAL/AMATEUR NIGHT OF FIGHTS
The FDNY Bravest Boxing team will battle the Garda Soichanna’ Boxing Club of the Irish National Police
Force on Saturday. March 14th
at 7:00PM. This will be the historic first Pro/Am boxing event ever held at
Madison Square Garden. The amateur portion of the evening will feature eight three-round matches pitting
FDNY members against Irish Police Officers in a battle for the Transatlantic Championship. The professional
portion of the card will feature world title contender Patrick “The Punisher” Hyland from Dublin, who has a
29-1 professional record. Co-featured on the card will be NYC Firefighter Will “Power” Rosinsky from Eng.
Co. 234. He has a 17-2 professional record and this will be his first bout since joining the NYC Fire Dept. in
2014
Funds raised from the event will benefit Building Homes for Heroes, an organization which helps severely
wounded veterans and their families rebuild their lives by providing mortgage free, handicap accessible homes.
Each year, the FDNY Boxing team competes in several amateur boxing matches against other Fire Department
and Police Departments from around the world. The FDNY Bravest Boxing team has donated more than
$100,000 to military related charities.
The Bravest Boxing team consists of FDNY members who train for their grueling matches on their own time
and live by the motto that they’ll fight “anyone, anywhere, anytime, as long as it’s for a good cause!” Tickets
