2. English Cementery
●
The cementery is situated in the heart of the city of Malaga.It is the last resting
place of many notable figures from the english, spanish,foreing communities
settled in or visting Andalucia particulary the Costa del Sol.

Visitors are welcome from Tuesday to Saturday between 0930 and 1400 hours and
Sunday between 1000 and 1300 hours the cementry is a fundation 1831.
●
In Malaga, the local law prohibited burials of non-catholics in the light of the day
specified that they should be moved to the seashore to the light of the torches an
standing a buried on the sand, being left at the mercy of the sea and the dogs
.When William Mark, who had seen these practices, was named the British
Consul in 1824 was proposed to get a piece of land that could serving as the
community cementery,

In 1829, the authority gave Malaga a piece of land for this end.In following
years,the cementery was improved by William Penrose Mar, the son of the
founder and were added more things.

3. Gerald Brenam
Eduard Fitzgerald Brenam is British writer belong to
cicle Ploomsbury born on 7 April 1894 and died in the
Alahurin el Granade. Málaga 19 January 1987. In 1914
participated in the First World War, the battle of Yprés,
the military cross and the French croix war. His friend
Hope-Johstone and Ralph Patridge introduced in Cicle
Ploomsbury Married in 1930 with the poet Gamel
Woolsey. In 1932 he returned to Spain, setting in
Churriana Málaga. Until the spanish civil Waz Forced
them to retun to London. From 1939 Gerald Brenam was
devoted to writing his most famous work, the spanish
Labyrinth , 1943, one of the first publish analysis of the
cause of yhe civil war etc. In 1953 the cousale returned
back to settle in Málaga . After the death of his wife in
1968 two important work Saint John of the cross. His
life and poetry 1971 and personal record 1920- 1972.
4. Jorge Guillén
Jorge Guillén is a spanish poet. He was
born in Valencia on 18 January 1893 and
died in Málaga on 6 Febrary 1984. He was a
professor of literature at the Universite of
Murcia and Sevilla and between 1929 and
1931. He served as a lecteur at Oxford. He
taught at Wellesley College After retirement
he lived in Italy before setting in Malaga
after the dead of Franco. He published his
firstbook, Cánticas, 1928. In 1976 recived
the Cervantes Award in 1977, he Intenacional
Alfonso Reyes Award. He was named
favourite son of Andalucia in 1983, a year
before he died in Málaga.
5. Gamel Woolsey
Gamel Woolsey was born in 1895 and died
in Málaga. She was a poet and novelist,
her real name was Elizabeth Gamel
Woolsey. She moved to New York
around 1921, where she published his
firs poem in the New York
Evening post in 1922. She married Rex
Hunter, but they split four years later. In
1922 married the historian and writer
Gerald Brenam. Who lived in Spain.
Gamel Woolsey published very little
during his life. Middle earth (1931) a
collection of 36 poems.( Death's other
Kingdom in 1939 was the little of
Málaga in flames.) She tells personal
experences during the spanish civil war
in Málaga; some Spanish and fairy
stories.
6. Cimentière du Pére-Lachaise
● Le cimentière Pére Lachaise se trouve dans le quartier la Villette. C´est le plus
grand cimetière de Paris et les plus célèbres, (acteurs, chanteurs mimes,
compositeurs, illusionnistes) dans le monde. Situé dans le 20e arrondissement
de la ville, de nombreuses personnes célèbres y sont enterrées. C´est le
cimetière le plus visité au monde, il a été contruit par Alexandre Theodore
Brongniart, un architecte classique au1803. Il y a 70000 tombes.

●● MOLIÈRE
● Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, dit Molière, Il est né à Paris (15
janvier 1622-17 fevrier 1673). C´est est un dramaturge
auteur de comédies, Il a trois frères et deux sœurs, sa mère
est morte quand il avait dix ans.
●À 21 ans, Molière s’engage dans la carrière théâtrale. Un de
ses travaux sont Le Malade imaginaire, 1673 ;L'Étourdi ou
les Contretemps, 1655...
7. ● JIM MORRISON
● Jim Morrison est né le 8 décembre
1943 à Melbourne (Floride) et mort le 3
juillet 1971 à Paris, Il a étè un poète et
chanteur de rock américain, leader du
groupe The Doors.
● Jim Morrison a étè l'aîné des trois enfants
issus du mariage entre Steve Morrison,
officier de l'US Navy, et Clara Clarke.
● Il a eu une sœur de prénom d'Anne et un
frère nommé Andy. Il est né deux ans
après l'attaque japonaise contre la base
américaine de Pearl Harbor.

8. Cementerio Inglés
A la entrada del cementerio pudimos ver una casa que, aunque no la visitamos,
pudimos hacernos una idea de cómo sería. Estaba muy bien cuidada y, además,
daba la sensación de ser acogedora y confortable. Al lado se encuntra un
pequeño jardín con objetos antiguos de labranza.
Más adelante se situaba la iglesia, donde se celebran las misas a los difuntos; los
adornos y la cristalería eran magníficos y de colores muy vistosos.
En el exterior nos esperaba un anciano amable y encantador que sería nuestro guía.
Nos enseñó todas las tumbas, desde las más antiguas hasta las de ahora y nos fue
explicando quiénes eran, cómo murieron y cuál era su historia .Las tumbas que
más nos conmovieron fueron las de los niños pequeños que habían muerto por
tuberculosis, entre ellos la tumba de Violetta que es una de las tumbas más
visitadas, ella murió con solo dos meses de vida, sus padres eran franceses y
inscribieron una rase preciosa.
Nos sentimos afotunados de poder estar cerca de los restos de esas personas que
lucharon por vivir, porque habia tantas historias diferentes...
Al final de nuestra visita por el cementerio todos los ancianos que trabajaban allí
voluntariamente para mantener todo en muy buen estado se despidieron de
