researcher with any prior experience or background. This course will help you begin to develop the critical skills needed to future‐proof your career in Blockchain

Curriculum
Unit I: Introduction to Blockchain Technology
History and Introduction, Types of Blockchains, Generic elements and features of blockchain, Tiers and Generations of Blockchain Technology.
Unit II: FinTech and Cryptocurrencies
FinTech generations, Traditional Vs Modern Banking, Hyperledger, Smart contracts, Bitcoin and Alternative cryptocurrencies, Limitations of Current banking systems
and Advantages of Blockchain.
Unit III: Cryptography and Information Security
Introduction to Cryptography and Steganography, Cryptanalysis, Hashing, Private and Public Key Cryptography, Role of cryptography in Blockchain implementation,
RSA, SHA, DES, 3DES and AES. Fraud Detection and Intrusion Detection.
Unit IV: Decentralized Systems
CAP Theorem, Byzantine Generals Problem, Peer to Peer Networking, Distributed Computing, Distributed ledger management
Unit V: Blockchain outside of Currencies
Ethics, IoT, Government, Health, Finance and Scalability challenges, Blockchain in Data Science, Future and scope of Blockchain experts.
