1. 4.I have also included pictures of some props such as a guitar and a piano. I
want to use props in the music video because I will be able to use them to help
portray more about the main artist throughout the music video by using a prop
to help display there emotions. Finally I have included a picture of a barn which
I believe would be a very good setting for our music video because it relates to
both the indie and folk genres as it is out in the countryside, I would also like the
barn to be quite old because it will help portray a message about the song to
the audience showing the message of the song which is about loosing friends as
you grow older which is shown in the age and state of the barn.

mood board. I have used images to
help represent the shots I will use,
lighting effects, clothing that is
typically worn by indie artists and
lyrics from the song that I will be
using. Some of the images link to
the lyrics from the song because
they directly show what is said in
the lyrics for example the circles
reflect the name of the song
‘circles’ and the clock tower image
used also reflects the song lyrics
because it is a lyric in the song.
2. As you can see from the mood board my initial
clothing ideas are suede boots as foot wear a
denim or chequered shirt and oldish jeans as
these are the type of clothing that is typically used
to represent the indie genre of music. It also
shows that I will be using a summery weather not
only because it will help show the up in the setting
which is a countryside it will also be a good light
source because it is natural and reflects the indie
genre as being natural and original which is also
why I am using the countryside as my setting.
3. The shots I will use will be a extreme longshot to set the
scene for the video but from then onwards mid-shots and
close-ups will be mostly used throughout as I want to keep the
audience focused mainly on the artist of the music video. The
lighting that I use will be very important as well I will use
completely natural lighting for the entire music video because
it will seem more typical for the folk genre which is also the
sub-genre I am using. Natural light is good to work with
however it will be harder because I will have to wait for a
specific time in order to film because the weather may not be
correct which could potentially cause continuity errors within
my filming.
