2. Lyrics
You are the ocean, and I am the landscape
I am immovable, until you caress me
And I'll kiss your mouth your back your eyes your nose your skin
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Sometimes you feel seasick, when you tell me your secrets
Cause they're buried so far down, they're living with the
shipwrecks
But I am a life boat, I'm on the horizon
You give me the signal, I'll come to your rescue
And I'll kiss your mouth your back your eyes your nose your skin
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Until you feel like you can't get enough
And I will be strong when you are weak
I'll be the words that you can't speak
I will be warmth when you are cold
I'll be the one, I'll take you home
And I'll kiss your mouth your back your eyes your nose your skin
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Your eyes your mouth your nose your skin
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Your eyes your mouth your nose your skin
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Your eyes your mouth your nose your skin
Until you feel like you can't get enough
Cause I feel like I can't get enough
Yeah I feel like I can't get enough
3. Locations Another location that I
intend to use is a field.
This is for the opening
and end of my music
video. I want Billie to
appear isolated and the
camera to focus on her
as this is something I
have repeatedly seen in
music videos of this
genre.
My main location will be Plantation
gardens in Norwich. I have chosen this
location because it is not only beautiful
but it also represents the outdoors's feel
about the folk/acoustic genre.
Furthermore the earthy colours will
compliment the costume I have chosen
and links to some of the song lyrics in
“the ocean.”
4. Props
I will be using minimal props in the video as videos
of this genre tend to be simple not flashy and busy.
They tend to be focused on the artist and their
guitar. I am using a plain acoustic guitar in the video
as the main prop because this is a key to identifying
the genre and is almost this genre’s symbol. As Kal
plays guitar I am going to have Billie playing the
guitar in a fairly large proportion of shots.
The only other prop I intend to
use in the video is words/letter’s
being cut out from magazines and
newspapers. This idea is a variation
on a video I watched of this genre,
it inspired me to come up with an
idea where I incorporate lyrics in
the video.
5. Costume
The costume for my music video will be casual as
the idea of the video is that you are watching the
artist showing off her talent therefore I don’t want
the costume to be too bold and distract away from
the artist. I have advised my actress to wear plain
clothing such as jeans and a jumper. As we are
filming in the Autumn early winter months I think
that warm clothes seem more suitable, this also
adds to the casual and comfortable style I was
aiming for.
Also the costume I have chosen especially oversized
winter jumpers is something that my target
audience would wear. By having my actors in similar
clothes to the audience they will be attracted to the
video and also be able to relate and identify with the
characters.
6. Genre
The acoustic genre is one that links strongly to the
singer/songwriter genre. In my video I plan to use
locations which are outdoors and portray natures
beauty. This is a strong signifier of the genre as many
artists use locations such a nation parks, forests and
fields. The connotations of these locations to my
target audience will be relaxing and they will
associate the song with this relaxed chilled out feel.
7. Audience

‘Audience Profile’
8. Festivals
I have chosen to include a slide on festivals as my
artist is easy to place. Latitude festival is known
for its folk/acoustic and alternative styles of
music. It is also much more than a festival its
about the art and talent in the industry. i think
this would not only appeal to my artist but she
would fit in at this festival because the genre of
the majority of the acts matches the genre her
music falls into.
