FacilityQuest conducts workplace behavior surveys and assessments to help companies design future workplace spaces. The surveys ask employees where, how, and when they work currently and their preferences. FacilityQuest then integrates the survey results with other assessments like space utilization. The goal is to understand critical work relationships and collaborations, how people collaborate in terms of alignment or co-development, and inform a schematic workplace design and test fit.

Collaboration is not just about how
much time people spend interacting.
It's about how they interact and what
they are trying to accomplish. Is the
activity about reporting status and
progress? That's "alignment." Is the
activity about co-creating something
or jointly solving a problem? That
type of collaboration is
"development." The resources needed
to enable these two types of activities
are not the same.
