REFLECTION/S
For algebra lecture related activities
to be honest I really refreshed my mind last
vacation that’s why I didn’t get any answer
correctly on the first few quizzes, my mind really
lacked knowledge about math that time but after
learning some of the lessons again I was able to
remember everything that I’ve learned in high
school. I’m very happy that I was able to be
myself again, I guess all I need is some warm up
exercises for my mind. Anyways going back I am
very glad that I was able to answer the rest of the
quizzes and test almost perfectly not that I’m that
smart at algebra
but because I do some practice math exercises
at home when I’m bored. Another is that I am
really aiming to get a high grade as much as
possible that’s why I don’t want to commit
much mistakes when I’m answering test, I am
serious but not that serious.
LESSONS LEARNED
For algebra lecture related activities
I learned to take note of the properties of real
numbers because it might be useful in
answering math problems. Another is that I
learned to always take note of the literal
coefficients when answering polynomials and
organize them accordingly because It can save
a lot of time and I will be able to answer the
equations quickly and I don’t need to recheck
it because everything is already organized. In
addition to that I learned to take advantage of
the GCF and the LCD when I’m answering
dissimilar fractions because it would be a
waste of my precious time answering
dissimilar fractions directly, without
multiplying them with their LCD’s. Another
waste of time is using the long method of
division of polynomials, it’s very useless and
time consuming I learned to take advantage of
the synthetic division when trying to get the
remainder and the quotient of the
polynomials also I learned to always look
at the first and last term of a trinomial
because that can tell me if they can be
factored of not. And lastly is patience, if I want
to get a high score I solve things with
patience.
DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED
For algebra lecture related activities
to be honest I didn’t encounter much
difficulties in our algebra lecture class and in
our activities because all lessons are explained
very well and they are summarized, straight
to the point, I like things to be summarized
and straight to the point . Another is that
almost all the test that we have are in multiple
choices, that makes everything a lot easier for
me although I did encounter one problem in a
test in algebra class that is the graphs I can’t
see it quite clearly, it’s a bit blurry, that makes
it hard for me to interpret it.

REFLECTION/S
Algebra laboratory worksheets
I have to admit algebra laboratory class had
taught me very well and it was challenging
because there are lots of worksheets for me to
work on. The worksheets are fine most of
them are very easy, some of them are hard
but if I analyze it thoroughly it will turn out
easy. But to be honest I thought there will be
something new in algebra class because this is
the first time that I heard about it. Know I
know that the laboratory classes is just like
remedial classes.
it’s a bit boring to be honest because we just
discuss the same lesson again then do some
worksheets then that’s it nothing more
nothing less.
LESSONS LEARNED
Algebra laboratory
I learned to always encircle or underline my
final answer to the problem because you
know just in case and so that it would be easy
for them to check my work. Another lesson
that I gained in algebra laboratory class is to
always review the lessons before that class
because our prof always gives us drills or short
test before we proceed to the lessons, it
would be a shame if I’m not well prepared. In
addition to that I learned to always bring
some graphing papers because it would take
me a lot of time drawing a perfectly measured
graph that’s why.
DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED
For algebra laboratory
I encountered some problems in our algebra
laboratory class one of it is the nature of
roots, at first I thought the nature of roots are
the zeros of the given function, so I answered
to zeros of the function then after that I felt
that there’s something wrong with this. After
we checked our worksheets I remembered
that the nature of roots are those: 2 equal
rational roots, 2 equal irrational roots, etc. It’s
a shame that I forget about it. Another
problem that I have encountered is
the visual aids because sometimes the fonts
are too small sometimes a bit blurry because
of the projector but our prof finds a way to
make the visual aids clear. I also have some
difficulties in finding the domain and range of
the function/s maybe I just need to refresh my
mind that’s all. Anyways I think that’s about all
of it.

REFLECTION
For online tasks
I enjoyed working on my online tasks because
it’s a lot easier and it provides some tips and
hints that I can use to solve things quickly.
Another is that I don’t have to waste much
papers anymore because I can submit it
directly on the site, it’s not that really heavy
that’s why I can answer it quickly and submit it
days before the due date. Some of the tasks
are just reflections and some of the tasks are
on khanacademy where I’ll just answer some
exercises that’s all.
LEARNING'S GAINED
For online tasks
I’ve learned a lot of things on the online tasks
one of them is that I have to be responsible,
like for example: submitting the online tasks
on time or days before the due date. Another
is that I learned to manage my time on
answering my tasks so that I have enough
time to work on the other tasks of mine. In
addition to that I learned to take my time in
answering the online tasks especially when I
want to get a perfect score, like when I’m
answering the online tasks in khanacademy
because having one mistake is already a big
deal , a big percentage wasted. Also I learned
to use the formulas as my guide, of course I
can create my own formula if I wished to.
Using a calculator can also be handy if I’m
dealing with large numbers. moreover I
learned to answer the online tasks in
complete detail because you know just in
case. Lastly I learned to be HONEST in
answering the questions.
DIFFICULTIES ENCOUNTERED
For online tasks
to be honest I didn’t encounter much
difficulties with regards to the online tasks
because most of the tasks are just reflections
about this and that. There’s also not much of a
problem when I’m answering the tasks in
khanacademy most of them were just a piece
of cake, I was able to do most of them with
ease. The only difficulty that I encountered
with regards to the online tasks is task 23 the
linear programming it took me more than 24
hours to get it because I am not good at
converting a word problem into a equation.
Another difficulty that I’ve encountered with
regards to that tasks is graphing it, of course I
have to make perfect squares in an excel
spread sheet, that took me hours to get the
right row height and column width but the
rest of the graphing process turned out to be
easy, like plotting the points, connecting them,
etc.
MY “NOTE TO SELF”
My mistakes learned
• always equate x and y to 0 to get intercepts or
use slope intercept form when graphing.
• In compound inequalities never forget to fuse
again the equations ex: 4<x<5 not like 4>x and
x<5.
• Don’t spend too much time simplifying
fractions some answers can be in decimal
form.
• These two are different 4+1(2+1) and
(4+1)(2+1) (property thing).
• Inequality sign is reversed when Y is negative.
• Exponents are added when terms are
multiplied.
• Remember the formula for vertex
• If a>0 that is the minimum point, if a<0 that is
the maximum point.
• Nature of roots are different form the zeros
• Diagonal down minus diagonal up.
• Always take note of the inequality sign.
• Always take note of the number sign.
• always check if the answers are right.
• Always simplify fractions where possible
• graph inequalities accurately, its better to
graph slowly and surely.
• When answering equations do it one at a time
• Review notes before and after the class , it’s
super effective.
That’s about all of it
Thanks for everything ma’am 

  • 36. I have to admit algebra laboratory class had taught me very well and it was challenging because there are lots of worksheets for me to work on. The worksheets are fine most of them are very easy, some of them are hard but if I analyze it thoroughly it will turn out easy. But to be honest I thought there will be something new in algebra class because this is the first time that I heard about it. Know I know that the laboratory classes is just like remedial classes.
  • 37. it’s a bit boring to be honest because we just discuss the same lesson again then do some worksheets then that’s it nothing more nothing less.
  • 39. I learned to always encircle or underline my final answer to the problem because you know just in case and so that it would be easy for them to check my work. Another lesson that I gained in algebra laboratory class is to always review the lessons before that class because our prof always gives us drills or short test before we proceed to the lessons, it would be a shame if I’m not well prepared. In addition to that I learned to always bring some graphing papers because it would take
  • 40. me a lot of time drawing a perfectly measured graph that’s why.
  • 42. I encountered some problems in our algebra laboratory class one of it is the nature of roots, at first I thought the nature of roots are the zeros of the given function, so I answered to zeros of the function then after that I felt that there’s something wrong with this. After we checked our worksheets I remembered that the nature of roots are those: 2 equal rational roots, 2 equal irrational roots, etc. It’s a shame that I forget about it. Another problem that I have encountered is
  • 43. the visual aids because sometimes the fonts are too small sometimes a bit blurry because of the projector but our prof finds a way to make the visual aids clear. I also have some difficulties in finding the domain and range of the function/s maybe I just need to refresh my mind that’s all. Anyways I think that’s about all of it.
  • 45. Note to the viewers I just took the screen shots of all The online task/s in moodle to make things a Little easier. ~felix
  • 79. I enjoyed working on my online tasks because it’s a lot easier and it provides some tips and hints that I can use to solve things quickly. Another is that I don’t have to waste much papers anymore because I can submit it directly on the site, it’s not that really heavy that’s why I can answer it quickly and submit it days before the due date. Some of the tasks are just reflections and some of the tasks are on khanacademy where I’ll just answer some exercises that’s all.
  • 81. I’ve learned a lot of things on the online tasks one of them is that I have to be responsible, like for example: submitting the online tasks on time or days before the due date. Another is that I learned to manage my time on answering my tasks so that I have enough time to work on the other tasks of mine. In addition to that I learned to take my time in answering the online tasks especially when I want to get a perfect score, like when I’m answering the online tasks in khanacademy
  • 82. because having one mistake is already a big deal , a big percentage wasted. Also I learned to use the formulas as my guide, of course I can create my own formula if I wished to. Using a calculator can also be handy if I’m dealing with large numbers. moreover I learned to answer the online tasks in complete detail because you know just in case. Lastly I learned to be HONEST in answering the questions.
  • 84. to be honest I didn’t encounter much difficulties with regards to the online tasks because most of the tasks are just reflections about this and that. There’s also not much of a problem when I’m answering the tasks in khanacademy most of them were just a piece of cake, I was able to do most of them with ease. The only difficulty that I encountered with regards to the online tasks is task 23 the linear programming it took me more than 24 hours to get it because I am not good at
  • 85. converting a word problem into a equation. Another difficulty that I’ve encountered with regards to that tasks is graphing it, of course I have to make perfect squares in an excel spread sheet, that took me hours to get the right row height and column width but the rest of the graphing process turned out to be easy, like plotting the points, connecting them, etc.
  • 86. MY “NOTE TO SELF” My mistakes learned
  • 87. • always equate x and y to 0 to get intercepts or use slope intercept form when graphing. • In compound inequalities never forget to fuse again the equations ex: 4<x<5 not like 4>x and x<5. • Don’t spend too much time simplifying fractions some answers can be in decimal form.
  • 88. • These two are different 4+1(2+1) and (4+1)(2+1) (property thing). • Inequality sign is reversed when Y is negative. • Exponents are added when terms are multiplied. • Remember the formula for vertex • If a>0 that is the minimum point, if a<0 that is the maximum point. • Nature of roots are different form the zeros
  • 89. • Diagonal down minus diagonal up. • Always take note of the inequality sign. • Always take note of the number sign. • always check if the answers are right. • Always simplify fractions where possible • graph inequalities accurately, its better to graph slowly and surely. • When answering equations do it one at a time • Review notes before and after the class , it’s super effective.
  • 90. That’s about all of it Thanks for everything ma’am 
