Senior IT Business Analyst
1. Senior IT Business Analyst/Business Reporting Developer- South Florida
The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a high performance team of professionals responsible for
delivering applications to our internal and external customers. The candidate should have strong
communication skills and be able to effectively balance multiple priorities. General duties include working
with our internal clients to determine technology requirements that support organizational business goals,
documenting those requirements, and working with developers, project managers, and quality analysts to
deliver the solution. Qualified candidates will enjoy working in a fast paced team environment that is
passionate about their work and results in positive contributions to the organization.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a business analyst working within a structured SDLC.
• Experience with the application and user testing process.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
• Experience utilizing business metrics.
• Working knowledge of business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures of web based
applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative
working relationships with persons contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including
Company management and outside business associates.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; participate in determining objectives of assignment;
plan, schedule, and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives.
• Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems and ensure solutions are consistent with
organization objectives.
• Proficient at preparing the following documents: Scope document, User stories, Use cases, Functional
Specification.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners.
• 3+ years of hands on experience with MS SQL Server, including Reporting Services, SSIS and complex
stored procedures.
• 3+ years of experience with BI concepts and tools such as Microsoft Analysis Services, Tableau, or
other BI front end tool.
• 3+ years of SQL programming experience.
• 3+ years of experience in report writing and report development using Microsoft Reporting Services.
Skills considered a plus for this position:
• Advanced skills in programming, system analysis and system implementation.
• Proficient organization skills, communication skills, and decision making skills.
• Self-directed, creative and detail oriented.
• Analyzing Information, Problem Solving, Software Algorithm Design, Software Performance Tuning.
• Experience with HIPAA 834 format or other EDI formats.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Healthcare
Administration or other related field or 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
• Experience delivering effective presentations to all levels of management and employees
• Experience deploying reporting solutions in a Sharepoint environment
• Advanced ability using Microsoft Excel as a front-end reporting tool, Power Pivot, and Power View
• Past experience on TFS
• 3+ years in C#, VB .NET, ASP.NET
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
