Management Team
  Vinod Kala - founder director of Emergent Ventures India Pvt ltd (EVI). He has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions
  combining technology and finance and has led the expansion of the company into renewable energy and technology development. Vinod has
  over 20 yrs of experience in strategy and finance and holds a post graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad,
  India

  Deepak Verma - Chief Operations Officer and Head Carbon Finance & Technology Solutions. Deepak has served as CEO of the Clinton
  Foundation’s HIV/AIDS Initiative, as CEO of eCredit, a venture-backed software company in Massachusetts, USA and as an Engagement
  Manager with consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Deepak has a MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management

  Ashutosh Pandey – CEO of Carbon Advisory Business. With his association EVI has engaged with more than 200 clients across the world to
  provide climate change mitigation solutions and build the company’s consulting business. Ashutosh is also the driving force behind the
  company’s new venture into strategy consulting, advising large companies on climate change related risks & opportunities. He has a Masters
  in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta

  Mahua Acharya – Chief Strategy Officer. Before EVI, Mahua was with ArcelorMittal London where she established and managed the carbon
  investment business for the company, initially capitalized at Euro 100M. She has worked in various pioneering roles in the carbon market
  over the past ten years, with the World Bank in its Carbon Finance Unit, Washington DC where she managed the South Asia carbon finance
  portfolio, and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Geneva. Mahua holds a masters degree from Yale University

  Atul Sanghal - Head, Carbon Advisory Business- India. Atul is a Mechanical engineer and has done Masters in Energy & Environment from IIT
  Delhi. He is a certified energy auditor from BEE, Bureau of Energy Efficiency. Atul also has expertise in waste management and has provided
  technical consulting to many organizations in India. With more than 10 years of industry experience, Atul is a well known expert on
  methodology and PDD development

  Sanjay Dube – VP, Sustainability Advisory. Sanjay has more than 22 years’ experience in climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency,
  natural resource management and transport sectors in India and Asia. Prior to joining EVI, Sanjay has worked extensively on projects funded
  by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), India Canada Environment Facility (ICEF), United Nations Department for
  Economic & Social Affaires (UNDESA), US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and other
  environmental groups advising these agencies on policy and regulatory issues

Deepak has served as CEO of the Clinton Foundation’s HIV/AIDS Initiative, as CEO of eCredit, a venture-backed software company in Massachusetts, USA and as an Engagement Manager with consulting firm McKinsey & Company. Deepak has a MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management Ashutosh Pandey – CEO of Carbon Advisory Business.
