ONLIFE Project Context
•When the Covid-19 pandemic emerged it
compelled many education establishments to
take extreme measures to continue to educate
students.
•teachers taught from home
•students were learning from home and
•parents supported their kids as home teachers
•most teachers were unprepared and struggled
to adapt to the new Onlife circumstances
ONLIFE Project Aims 1
To help address this, the ONLIFE project was
proposed to:
•Develop a methodology which will support the life
adaptability of teachers in the online teaching
process in school education so they can have hybrid
competences as teachers.
•Support the European Union priority – the Digital
Educational Action Plan

ONLIFE Project Aims 2
To help address this, the ONLIFE project was
proposed to:
•Empower teachers and school leaders to face the
digital transformation of the educational system in
time of crisis.
•The goal is to reinforce the schools ability to
provide high quality and inclusive digital education
to their students
ONLIFE Project Results
The aims will be met through the development of:
1. A Guidebook: Patterns for enhancing digital
technologies in School Education
2. A Training course for teaching in School
Education
3. The ONLIFE Learning Paradigm (OLP): Teacher
Competences, Methods & Approaches
4. Recommendations and guidelines for School
System bodies for providing useful framework
instruments to improve teaching quality

ONLIFE Project Context •When the Covid-19 pandemic emerged it compelled many education establishments to take extreme measures to continue to educate students. •teachers taught from home •students were learning from home and •parents supported their kids as home teachers •most teachers were unprepared and struggled to adapt to the new Onlife circumstances
  • 3. ONLIFE Project Aims 1 To help address this, the ONLIFE project was proposed to: •Develop a methodology which will support the life adaptability of teachers in the online teaching process in school education so they can have hybrid competences as teachers. •Support the European Union priority – the Digital Educational Action Plan Floridi L. 2015, The onlife manifesto: Being human in a hyperconnected era. ONLIFE Project Aims 2 To help address this, the ONLIFE project was proposed to: •Empower teachers and school leaders to face the digital transformation of the educational system in time of crisis. •The goal is to reinforce the schools ability to provide high quality and inclusive digital education to their students
  • 5. ONLIFE Project Results The aims will be met through the development of: 1. A Guidebook: Patterns for enhancing digital technologies in School Education 2. A Training course for teaching in School Education 3. The ONLIFE Learning Paradigm (OLP): Teacher Competences, Methods & Approaches 4. Recommendations and guidelines for School System bodies for providing useful framework instruments to improve teaching quality
