1. We drove three hours to get to
Novaci. We were welcomed by all
the people (mayor) of the village.
A celebration in honor of
Comenius partners were
organised. Everything was very
good, catchy music, the
atmosphere cheerful…
Carmen, the Director of the
School of Novaci picked us
up in Bucharest. We first
visited the Palace of the
Romanian Parliament (the
second tallest building in the
world).
2. We visited the school Novaci (primary school
and college in the first class in the 9th: 7-16
years).
We met students who sang and perform
traditional dances.
We also found the club where Novaci of
extracurricular student make the after-
noon. They participate in various activities:
sewing, arts, physical, mechanical, ...
Visit the salt mine was also a real surprise!
3. The visit of Targu Jiu, we unveiled
the sculptures of Brancusi. The
night we traveled to a village in
Ranca altitude (ski resort) with a
delicious traditional and typical
songs.
4. The last day,
we visited the
kindergarten
Novaci a
farewell drink
with the team
Novaci teacher
(elementary
school) we had
booked.
We had the
chance to see
the Orthodox
church with the
tomb of King
Carol the 1st
and his wife
Elisabeth.
The last trip
was Bran
Castle,
5. Thank you to the Romanian team and especially
to Carmen for having made us discover this
beautiful country, Romania.
We could see that the whole school was very
involved in the Comenius project.
