What is Campus Youth Revolution?YFC UST’s version of Campus Tour.YFC’s version of Organization week wherein the only difference is that we only promote Christ and his values and teachings.
Purpose: Creative Evangelization Thanksgiving Story of VictoryThe Campus Youth Revolution should be evangelistic. The primary purpose of this activity is to market Jesus to non-YFC members or students who haven’t had a personal relationship with God. Thus, the activities included in the Campus Youth Revolution should be appealing to the non-YFCs in general. It should be emphasized that the presence of these people makes the tour effective. The Campus Youth Revolution should bring Thomasians to a higher level of faith. Every year, the YFC follows a theme discerned and prayed for by our leaders. The theme is God’s calling and direction for the whole year. It empowers the youth to continue serving the Lord in a more faithful and contemporary way. The Campus Youth Revolution should open the eyes of many to the poor. More than evangelizing non–YFCs, part of the work is to establish ourselves with the reality that our country is suffering from poverty. God’s love should not be locked within the high walls of our university. The love must be spread even to the poor. They themselves need to hear God’s word and to realize that even they are poor, they are loved by Christ and they still have hope to restore their lives. The Campus Youth Revolution should be a venue to train future campus leaders pastorally and technically. The Campus Youth Revolution has become the birthplace of many of our Campus leaders today. Through the tour, people’s skills and talents are discovered and put into good use. Eventually, these people are chosen as YFC leaders in the campus in the future. The Campus Youth Revolution should equip them with proper management and relational skills in order for them not only to lead their campus effectively but also to mold them to be better persons and citizens. It is a pool of empowerment for all. The Campus Youth Revolution should worship the Lord in every activity. The activities that we hold should not dilute the central message of the Campus Youth Revolution, which is to introduce each person in our campus to Christ. Every activity should be a declaration and celebration of Christ’s love in our campuses.
