1. Casting Characters For The
Music Video
The Song Fire starter is sung by young American pop star Demi Lovato. Because
of this I need a female ‘main character’ to lead the video. The song is very
upbeat and youthful, because of this I will be including scenes of groups of
young people enjoying themselves. I will be using people I know in the music
video as this is the most suitable and affordable way of producing it.

2. The Female Lead
I have chosen a friend of mine to be the lead in the music video. I chose her as
I feel she has a very suitable look for the type of genre of my music video and
feel she lives up to the conventions my music video would stereotypically hold.
I have also done a brief interview with her and she is very aware of what she
will be doing in the music video e.g.. Lip syncing and acting.

3. Extra’s
My music video will need other people to be involved in the different scenes,
especially as this is an upbeat party song targeted at young people. Because
of this, I have spoken to some of my friends (both male and female) using
social media and have agreed a time and place to meet up and film.
