We can think of important past peaceful protests and marches in the likeness of those led by Ghandi and Dr. Martin Luther King, and the now more prevalent violent and protests in Baltimore and U.C Berkley. Unfortunately these violent protests and riots have begun to gain ground as the normal expression of social unrest and can be directly tied back to geopolitics and globalization in many instances.
