Quick Review of Graphic Novel Basics
• Storyboard from narrative
• Gathering copyright-friendly images
• Six basic elements: Page, Panel, Pictures, Captions, Balloons, Lettering
• Exporting finished projects
◦ As PDF --> Slideshare --> Embed Code for blogs and wikis
◦ As Images -->Google Presentations --> URL and embed codes for blogs and
wikis
▪ Images to be used in Adobe or iMovie for still image movie using
Ken Burns effect
◦ As Quicktime Movie (Mac) or .AVI (PC) 10-15 second per page.
