2. 3 or 5- subject notebook, for Math only (or binder with loose leaf paper)
3. TI- 84 graphing calculator
4. Math textbook (unless I say otherwise)
2. CLASS GRADES:
Averages are determined by the following:
• Homework and participation- 10%
• Cumulative Reviews- 10%
• Quizzes- 20%
• Benchmark Tests- 10% (1 per quarter)
• Post Assessments- 50%
Homework is assigned almost daily. It is either checked at the beginning of class the next
day. My policy is simple, “Do it and receive 2 points, don’t do it and receive a 0.” No
homework will be accepted late without an excuse. If you are absent, you have 2 class
days to make up the work (with an excuse). 1 point is given if you do half of the assignment.
Tests, quizzes and cumulative review dates are posted at the beginning of the chapter.
Review for each exam will be done in class the day before the exam. If you are absent for
the review, you still have to take the test the next day. If you are absent the day
of the test, you will take it the next day you are in class. There are no exceptions to
this rule!
