The capstone project has been a challenge since the first assigment, but it has interesting and a learning experience. I feel that all the past courses have come together for this last project. Learning about cultures, patient care, ethics, and communication has helped me to accomplish this last assigment. In search of a problem in patient care, I came across the difficulty of communication between physicians and patient who do not share the same language. The subejct was an interest of mine, since I have being an aid to help with translating in Spanish. I understand the frustration both parties can feel, when there is no understanding on the conversation. During the process of these project, I have learned that patient care includes more than just giving a treatment plan to the patient's condition. In patient care, it is important to understand the patients culture and language, and know how to integrated health care to where the patient feels comfortable according to their culture. This will help the patient be compliant to their health care. Lastly, the capstone project has help me growth as a medical assistant, but also as a person. Now I have a better idea of the importance of culture and how important is to have effective communication.

This capstone project has allowed me to utilize all the healthcare issues that I have studied so far at GCU. The classes from trancultural healthcare to ethics has enabled me to fully integrate what I have learned in a comprehensive manner/ This capstone project is demanding the effective compilation of all the theories and skills in writing to further my capabilities of effective persuasion and substantiation of proposed ideas. In this capacity, I have become a better writer and researcher from this type of cumulative learning process. I feel that I have also been able to support, with documentation, the ideas and issues of which I am critical. I feel as if, at the end of this program of study, I will be able to go to the management with a clear and concise way to take issue with some of the glaring problems within our hospital system. I have also learned that there are differing areas of the country that demand different ways of caring for our patients and we must be able to adapt to those conditions outside the normal standard of care. I have found this week that as I am writing this final paper, I should be able to easily complete the project as I have managed to do quite well on the papers up to this point. By utilizing much of the research already conducted has shown me the importance of writing in a cumulative style. Upon completion and dependent on the grade I receive, I plan to make many of my concerns known based on the research and EBP's that are in place from a regulatory position.

Before this class started, I have browsed through this course and
read the requirements of all the assignments and in all honesty,
I was scared! This capstone project helped me know how to
disseminate parts of a research and has given me the ability to
understand the importance of what makes a research more
valuable. From all the different course work throughout this
program, it all has integrated a certain aspect into my capstone
project. I have learned to manage my time, utilize journals in
the library that have peer reviews, and utilize websites that are
credible. The different kinds of topics that are assigned all help
integrate different aspects into my capstone project. I learned
many information about managed health care, ethics, cultures,
patient care and most importantly what to know about the
changing world of healthcare. According to the last lecture of
this course “students should be able to participate in research
3. activities by: identifying clinical problems requiring
investigation, utilizing evidence-based literature to answer
clinical questions, critically analyzing and critiquing qualitative
and quantitative studies, critically synthesizing the literature to
make best practice decisions, assisting experiences investigators
in gaining access to clinical sites, assisting novice clinicians,
peers, and interdisciplinary health care workers in utilizing
evidence-based literature and synthesizing the information,
influencing the selection of appropriate methods of data
collection, and collecting data, disseminating, and implementing
nursing research findings” (Demonstrating Mastery of
Evidence-Based Practice, 2009). I hope to have gain and to
utilize this in the future of my career.

It is improtant to recognize that there are many aspects of this
couorse of study. The objective, i bilieve, is to have atuden be
the best and most rounded ethical and Christian provider that
exists. The point is that there are many aspects to healthcare but
the use of all the disciplines that have been studied, give
validation to everything we have been discussing. When the
recognition of quality healthcare hits the patient, we can see the
effect it has on our patients. To be the advocate we have learned
to be through this course, we can see the importance that exists
from following good healthcare. From all of the research that
has been done, we can string the education that has been
delivered to us to make viable arguments toward the satisfactory
explanations that are there in the proogram. There is a common
theme from one discipline to the other that indicaties why we do
the things we do as healthcare providers.

1.
The importance in identifying commonalities across several
studies with regard to study findings and the types of patients to
which a study findings can be applied is because commonalities
help to determine if results are reliable and effectively. In a
variety of studies, when findings are consistent it can be
determined that the study is feasible to be apply to several types
of patients.

It is important to identify commonalities across several studies
with regard to studying findings because depending on the type
of research is used, it helps determine the outliers, exceptions,
and contradictions within a data set (Leedy & Ormrod, 2015).
“A good qualitative researcher actively, consciously resists
temptations to find commonalities that do not truly exist (Leedy
& Ormrod, 2015). The type of patient that can be applied to a
qualitative study is the cultural differences or similarities of
patients. “A cross-cultural study contributes to the leisure
studies field, both theoretically and practically, by identifying
cultural commonality and specificity in leisure experiences as
well as leisure’s potential role in enhancing psychological well-
being” (Ito & Walker, 2016).
