6. Inspect ladders before use
1. Inspect ladders before use. Before starting
each house all ladders are to be inspected for damage.
2. Keep mud, dirt, oil off ladders. Keep
shoes/boots free of slippery substances.
3. Stop using damaged equipment
immediately. Mark and set aside problem equipment.
4. Test climb Step on the first rung, look down to ensure
ladder has proper fitting before continuing to climb further up.
