\"Computer Forensics Process\" Please respond to the following: The computer forensics investigative process includes five steps: Identification, Preservation, Collection, Examination, and Presentation. Describe the most important aspect of each step. Decide which step you believe is most challenging as a whole, and describe why. Describe the importance of forensics examinations in legal proceedings and what investigators can do during each step to avoid potential problems during legal proceedings. Solution Identification: In this phase our main aim is to recognize and determine the type or nature of the incident.Proper identification is necessary ,because without proper identification ,the whole process will be directionless and meaningless. Preservation: Once we are done with the identification, we acquire physical and digital data. After this we isolate ,secure and preserve these data.We do this because ,it is required for furthur investigation. We also see to it that these events take place in proper order, one after other like a chain of events happening one after another. Collection: In this phase,we extract the preserved data and if required we perform duplicate copies of these data.Bacause for analysis and examination each piece of data is important. So proper collection is required. Examination: Identification and locating the potential evidence from the collected data is known as Examination phase. Examination phase has to be done in a very careful way.The task of determining the significant evidences and drawing conclusions based on the evidences found is done in Analysis phase. Presentation: Our findings from the examination and analysis phase, which is done prior to this step is presented. The results obtained are presented. The most challenging step as a whole is a examination and analysis phase because the whole outcome of the study depends on that.If this step is not done carefully, then investigation may produce false outcomes.Since this is a matter of forensic science, usually people\'s life will be involved here. So false result may result in punishment to good person. So forensic examination decides the life of the person ,whether he is a good person or a person who deserve punishment due to his wrong deeds..
