Pulte Homes / Del Webb is one of America’s largest homebuilding companies with operations in 48 markets and 25 states.
Responsibilities:
Sr. Production Home Designer
First 4 years performed all of schematic design and design development for the 7 Pulte divisions in CA, AZ, NV, NM.
Single family product sizes included 30’– 90’ wide homes, 1200 SF – 5000 SF, including several multi-family projects.
Worked directly with Division’s operating team to develop cost effective, well designed homes, applying value engineering
during design development phase. Managed team of 2-3 designers. Built strong relationships with local jurisdictions,
internal clients & consultants. Initiated grass roots Green Team last 3 years, Most recently championed PV Solar for 2 Sun
City projects in Arizona.
Project Manager
Changing market during 2008-09 required change to P.M. role that handled over 110 plans for 2 divisions, including Project
Scheduling, Start-up Budgets, Quality Assurance, Construction Administration, Municipal Design Review process.
PERLMAN ARCHITECTS, Scottsdale, AZ 2002 – 2004
Three established offices, Las Vegas (100 employees), Newport Beach (9 employees) and Scottsdale (22 people). The
Scottsdale office’s strength is in production home design. We also did work in multi-family, custom, fire stations, and retail.
Responsibilities:
Sr. Production Home Designer
Clients included Richmond American, Hancock Communities, TW Lewis Company, Taylor Woodrow, Hacienda Builders,
Capital Pacific, etc. SF Product sizes include 35’ – 70’ wide, 1200 SF – 5000 SF. Managed a team of 3–4 designers to
quickly develop multiple solutions under tight deadlines. Maintained good relationships with many of the local jurisdictions
and was very familiar with most of the local design review requirements. Had a strong interest in better understanding how
building sciences reduced liability and added value.
SCRIVNER DESIGN GROUP, Scottsdale, AZ 2001 – 2002
Reputable 5 person architectural design firm specializing in high-end custom/production residential design.
Responsibilities:
Product Designer
Product designer for Aspen Shadows at Flagstaff Ranch for Cachet Homes – three residential plans each with three distinct
elevations to be built on 80 lots. Prices ranged from $450K up, and home sizes from 2500 – 3800 SF.
Project Manager
Developed time schedules to begin working drawing stages. Coordinated and assisted in working drawings phase.
Managed consultants for structural engineering and truss engineering phase. Maintained relationship with County of
Coconino obtaining all plan review approvals.

Responsibilities:
Product Designer
Sole in-house product designer from 5/96 – 5/01. Developed designs working directly with Sales, Marketing and
construction input. Led value-engineering meetings with trades.
Project Manager
Developed time schedules and budgets to begin working drawing stages. Prepared scopes of work for all projects, managed
all drafting, truss engineering and structural engineering consultants, coordinating all phases of working drawings.
Maintained relationship with 5 city municipalities (Chandler, Gilbert, Goodyear, Phoenix, and Scottsdale), obtaining all plan
review approvals.
Field Liaison
Handled all field related plan issues, including problem solving, plan change memos, plan clarifications, City inspection
requests.
Graphic Skills
Personally sketched all the elevation and floor plan renderings for the design review process for the City of Ocotillo (16
Floor plans for 308 lots) and City of Gilbert (4 floor plans on 80 lots).
