Some warning signs of predatory OA journals:
o The name of the journal appears incompatible
with its scope
o Spam-like emails from the journal requesting
article submissions
o Promise fast submission-to-publication
o The editorial board members are not clearly
identified or do not have scholarly affiliations
o The journal website looks unprofessional
