Supplies balanced nutrients several times a day  :       Eating  balanced  and  healthy  food  during  all  meals   helps  body  to  sustain  good   level  of  energy  &  fitness
Wide variety  : Variety  is  the  spice  of  life.  Eating  varied  food  helps  to  satisfy  the  palate  and  also  helps  to  get  all  nutrients. Important Components of good food habits  :
Natural :      The  closer  the  food  is  to  nature,  the  higher  is  the  level  of  energy  and  nutrients  e.g.  fresh  fruit  and  fruit  juices  are  much  better  than  tinned  fruits,  seasonal  fruits  &  vegetables  are  better  than  ones  kept  in  cold  storage,  whole  wheat  flour  is  healthier  than  processed  white  flour.
