• . ChildLine is a confidential service for children and young people up to the age of
nineteen. Child Line is open to anyone from the minor things to the major ones.
• ChildLine have Counsellors. These are people who are there for people to talk to if
they need help or guidance. It is genuine and open for anyone. Its free for people
to call which gives the audience direct access to this. The number is also easy to
remember as it uses two different numbers. They are experienced workers who
know the different troubles young people can face and they don’t judge you or
put you down, they are understanding.

• More than 4,500 children call daily shows that there are a lot of children in need
of help.
• It takes on average £38 to counsel a child showing that
