The Dilemma of Miscommunications at ABC, INC.
January 28, 2015
The introduction should start out with a thesis statement dealing
with communication and supervision
*
The Dilemma of Miscommunications at ABC, INC.
The business alignment that ABC, INC. chooses to use can and
at some point, will be the determining factor in the
organizations
success. Companies that choose to overlook and/or ignore that
importance of preparation and communication may endure
numerous negative consequences, internal and external. History
has showed that companies that adopt and implement employee
retaining techniques such as regular employee meetings and
conference calls experience greater employee teamwork,
resulting in greater employee attitudes, smother work stations
and work ethics. In this paper *
I plan to examine and give
a summary of various communicational strategies that are used
in my

All this section in yellow needs to be cut into 2 major problems
that you see from this story of Carl and Monica.
Background
At the beginning of April Recruiter Carl Robins has hired
fifteen new employees during his first recruitment effort. On
May 15 his supervisor Monica Carrolls
, contacted Carl about the training schedule, orientation,
manuals, policy booklets, physicals, drug tests, and a host of
other issues, which Carl would coordinate for the new hires.
Carl assured Monica that everything would be arranged by June
15.
At
the end of May, finally looking through the new hire files and
Carl became concerned. Some of the new trainees did not have
applications completed or their transcripts on file, and none of
them had been sent to the clinic for the mandatory drug screen.
He only had three orientation manuals that had a
missing pages for fifteen hires.
Frust
rated, he went for a quick walk. Upon his return to the office,
he decided to check out the training room for the orientation.
There, he found Joe, from technology services, setting up
computer terminals. Carl reviewed the scheduling log and found
that Joe had also reserved the room for the entire month of June
for computer training seminars for the new database software
implementation.
Carl panicked. He went back to his office, put his head on his
desk, and thought to himself, "What am I going to do?"
5. This section should blend
Key Problems found within ABC, INC.
That problems that were found during three months evaluation
of ABC, INC. are within many different areas. First, there is a
high lack of communication between the employees. Monica and
Carl work in the same department within a team where they rely
on day to day communication to keep the team on the same page
when carrying out business deals. Employees in this recruiting
work team need to communicate on task responsibilities and
production timing of the orientation. A lack of communication
always lead to mistakes, delays, wasted time and missteps.
Second, the Supervision and Management does not seem to be
trained properly. Supervision is one of the major parts of a work
environment that should help supersize its full potential.
Supervision should naturally flow according to protocols that
have been set be
the company. But having poor supervision in ABC, INC‘s
workplace the primary obstacles to fulfilling the teams
recruitment goals tend to fall short. After all, Carl, no matter
his task, must have the proper instruction and training to ensure
that H
e is doing his jobs correctly, and with the smallest measure of
risk, error or injury. [Write a strong transitional sentence here
to create a smooth segue to your next body paragraph and to
give your paper more style and flow.]
Finally, the lack of motivation to follow through on work
assignments and accountability seems to be void. Author of the
article “How Lack of Motivation is killing Your Company”,
Mellany Gallant says, “Motivation is the force that converts
intention into action. In a work setting, it’s the drive that helps
maintain goal-directed performance. For over 40 years,
scientists and business researchers have conducted numerous
studies to determine what incentives help motivate employees.
6. So many companies spend thousands of dollars hiring outside
firms to give motivation seminars, realizing that by nurturing
the talent of individuals and building stronger teams, they can
help cultivate a happy work environment”. (2013)
