2. What is Halloween?
Halloween is a celebration which is thought to be associated with the
Celtic Festival Samhain( pronounced sah-win), when ghosts and spirits
were believed to be around.
3. When Do We Celebrate Halloween?
We celebrate Halloween on the night of the 31st of October, which is
the eve of All Saints’ Day.
4. How Do We Celebrate Halloween?
On Halloween some children and possibly some adults dress up in scary
costumes or ones from fairytales, and go to houses in the
neighborhood. At the houses children would ask the house owners for
candy.
Some people decorate their houses for Halloween. They carve scary
faces on pumpkins and light them up. They sometimes put spooky
characters up such as witches, skeletons or zombies etc.
