Halloween is celebrated on October 31st and originated as a harvest festival before becoming a fun holiday for children. On Halloween, people in America put on costumes, carve pumpkins into Jack o' Lanterns, go to haunted houses or trick-or-treating, and adults sometimes attend parties, where some may drink too much, but overall it is a holiday where everybody has fun.
