Dharmendra Rama. Every computer in the
world and almost every electronic device for
that matter has two basic parts, which can be
considered their prime building blocks. These
two components are what make computers
function and work with other electronic
devices. Without these two parts, modern
technology as the world knows it wouldn’t be
possible. Dharmendra Rama.
Here are those two parts.
Semiconductor: Conducting electricity is the
semiconductor’s primary role. These
amorphous, crystalline materials possess quite
a level of resistance. Their characteristics make semiconductors perfect for the job, because
not only are they perfect for conducting electricity, they also keep themselves from
overheating. It should be noted, however, that as the temperature of a semiconductor
increases, its level of resistance decreases. Dharmendra Rama.
Circuit board: Also known as a printed
circuit board or PCB, a circuit board
utilizes circuits and semiconductors to
establish connections between computers
and other devices. For example, when a
computer is hooked up to a ventilator in a
hospital, the computer sends commands
via the circuit boards to the ventilator.
These commands vary depending on what
the computer user inputs on the computer.
2. The same goes for almost every other
device, from remote controls and TVs to
