Introduction
Musha is a type of special Pot having heat resistance
capacity, used to remove Dosha from various metals &
minerals. They are specially designed for preparing
bhasma and extraction of satwa from Dhatu.
Known as crucible in English terminology

Introduction
During various processing metals & minerals require
intense heating. The utensils otherwise used can not
withstand or sustain a high degree of temperature and
they got crack or broken. Hence the ancient scholars
had designed special crucible of particular shape which
can sustain high temperature.

The basic ingredient of Musha are Mrittika and Loha,
howover other ingredients also used for specific
purpose- they are Brunt husk,Stone powder,charcol,hill
rock soil,Iron slag, Lime stone,salt,bricks powder etc

All the Ingredients Like Soil, Burnt
Husk,Jute Fiber,Charcoal & Horse
dung should be taken in equal
quantity and pounded well with
admixing Water to prepare
homogeneous semisolid mass.
Musha then should be prepared as
per required shape & size dried
under sun & burnt to proper
