The aeronautics, medical, automotive, and arms sectors rely on high-quality
components and parts manufactured and assembled by Groupe Valantur. An
enterprise made up of five companies spread over nine sites and growing, Valantur was
using multiple enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems – and each new acquisition
came with more. Information access on a groupwide level grew complex; the company
needed a better way to consolidate its business data.
In combination with the eam4cloud add-on from all4cloud, the SAP Business®
ByDesign solution has provided Valantur with a single ERP solution that supports®
multicompany, multisite inventory management and maintenance processes. Staff
members now have a real-time overview of all materials at each site. And they’ve been
able to reduce inventory by exchanging parts between sites instead of ordering more
from the supplier. This all means customers get their orders more quickly than ever.
