THE ADVANTAGES OF MULTIPLE-CHOICE ITEMS :
1. Multiple-choice items can measure various cognitive
                         levels.

     2. Making score is easy, fast, and objective

   3. They are appropriate to test containing many
participants, while the results should be announced
                         soon.

     4. Students not only learn the wrong answer
choices, but they also really know the right answer
                        choices.

          5. This test gives a better reliability.
DISADVANTAGES OF MULTIPLE-CHOICE ITEMS:

  1. This test takes relatively long time to prepare
                      questions.

 2. Difficulty of making a homogeneous distracters
                    and functioning.

    3. This test can not measure students’ verbal
                       ability .

  4. Allows students to choose the wrong answer
because they do not know the right answer.
