A:-We tried to change villagers outlook about the people who are backwards.
B:-We tried & got success in removing the untouchability from the mind of villagers.
C:-We brought an awareness about the social evils among all villagers.
D:-We motivated them to adopt all religions, all casts and each Human being.
E:- We motivated them to sit together, to eat together and to celebrate together.



                                       Ramnagar Bhainsi is a remote village
                                       located at the border of Shahjahanpur
                                       and Hardoi districts.
                                       The village is lacks in education and
                                       social etiquettes. Majority of population
                                       belongs to higher cast peoples.
                                       Villagers have deep rooted beliefs in
                                       untouchability and it is still in practice
                                       here. They don’t allow the sweepers to
                                       involve in social functions along with
                                       they don’t want to see them developing.
                                       People who are living here having
                                       thought that the backwards are made
                                       only for sweeping and they can not live
                                       with us.
                                       Higher casts people do not want to see
The students felt that some of their peers who play with them in village,
can not get admission in any school because of bad concept of
untouchablility. Most of the higher cast people prevent their children to
play with Backwards . So the SBS students have took an oath to get
admitted those children who have been suffering with intangibility curse.
After this they have form a team to complete this task and to get rid of
this huge Devil from the community.
  Road Blocks
                                          Why the idea was chosen

We will make our community people aware of to prevent this social
evil by organizing a Rally . The village will be able to adopt those
peoples also who are neglected by the high cast peoples of community
& surroundings, making some rules to avoid this type of pity
thoughts . Each child can get admission and education like others.



                               Action plan against
                                 intangibility
                               1. A rally will be organized along with
                                  street plays.
                               2. A SAMOOH BHOOJ (Party) will be
                                  organized with help of both costs in
                                  their respective houses.
                               3. They will be uplifted by providing the
                                  benefits of govt. schemes for them
                                  for them.
     We want change
                               4. Meeting with the poor and backward
                                  in their houses to realize them that
1.Railly,Chart,posters & slogan writing to create awareness against impalpability.
                  2.Liasoning with the Govt agencies & local respected peoples to boost up campaign.
                  3.Support of Gram Pradhan, Village leaders & religion promoters to bring out change.
                  4.Role Plays & exhibitions to display myths in the light of education .

All students participated with great zeal to work together for this biggest journey of social
           change. They all have visited Gov. Schools and talked to the staff that why don’t you admit
           these students whereas they have also right to education. And finally they took the
           admission of backward children and we could see the smiling faces.

1. Lot’s of children who never see the boundary
of Schools get admitted by our students efforts.
2. Village Sarpanch involved the backward
people to do work together.
3. Now mostly backward children can continue
their study with joy.
4. We received a appreciation letter form Gram
Pradhan and Aaganbaadi other community
peoples.

@ After a DFC team’s motivation the community has come in support.
@ On the name of competition each and every villager has become exited.
@ Messages through rally and street plays have cast a great impact on the villagers and
they have become ready to save their traditional music and songs.
@ Today each and every villager of that village wants more programs on folk music.

IND-2012-336 SBS Ram Nagar -Untouchability is a Curse

  • 2. A:-We tried to change villagers outlook about the people who are backwards. B:-We tried & got success in removing the untouchability from the mind of villagers. C:-We brought an awareness about the social evils among all villagers. D:-We motivated them to adopt all religions, all casts and each Human being. E:- We motivated them to sit together, to eat together and to celebrate together. Ramnagar Bhainsi is a remote village located at the border of Shahjahanpur and Hardoi districts. The village is lacks in education and social etiquettes. Majority of population belongs to higher cast peoples. Villagers have deep rooted beliefs in untouchability and it is still in practice here. They don’t allow the sweepers to involve in social functions along with they don’t want to see them developing. People who are living here having thought that the backwards are made only for sweeping and they can not live with us. Higher casts people do not want to see
  • 3. The students felt that some of their peers who play with them in village, can not get admission in any school because of bad concept of untouchablility. Most of the higher cast people prevent their children to play with Backwards . So the SBS students have took an oath to get admitted those children who have been suffering with intangibility curse. After this they have form a team to complete this task and to get rid of this huge Devil from the community. Road Blocks Why the idea was chosen 1.Deep rooted Orthodoxy people seated 1.Almost 30% students were on raputated place. suffering 2.Poverty,Illiteracy & rigidity. 3.Lack of education and social from impalpability. parameters . 2.People were consulting about this 4.From beginning community did not problem but no one want to take support to students campaign. first Step. 3.Backward Children are too far from the blessings of teachers. 4.Not only the children suffers this problem but also adult and old people are the victim this problem. 5.High Cast people misbehave with them and treat with them as servant. 6.During interaction with lower Please don’t avoid us cost society they do not care about moral values.
  • 4. . We will make our community people aware of to prevent this social evil by organizing a Rally . The village will be able to adopt those peoples also who are neglected by the high cast peoples of community & surroundings, making some rules to avoid this type of pity thoughts . Each child can get admission and education like others. Action plan against intangibility 1. A rally will be organized along with street plays. 2. A SAMOOH BHOOJ (Party) will be organized with help of both costs in their respective houses. 3. They will be uplifted by providing the benefits of govt. schemes for them for them. We want change 4. Meeting with the poor and backward in their houses to realize them that
  • 5. 1.Railly,Chart,posters & slogan writing to create awareness against impalpability. 2.Liasoning with the Govt agencies & local respected peoples to boost up campaign. 3.Support of Gram Pradhan, Village leaders & religion promoters to bring out change. 4.Role Plays & exhibitions to display myths in the light of education . n First day was spent on ILITY IS paig planning out the strategies "UNTOUCHAB Cam from ST GOD ts of the campaign, preparing CRIME AGAIN star th Sept.   • 6. All students participated with great zeal to work together for this biggest journey of social change. They all have visited Gov. Schools and talked to the staff that why don’t you admit these students whereas they have also right to education. And finally they took the admission of backward children and we could see the smiling faces. 220 Students & Admission in Govt. School Admission in Anganwadi 376 villagers
  • 7. The last day of the campaign started with news of success as………….. 1. Lot’s of children who never see the boundary of Schools get admitted by our students efforts. 2. Village Sarpanch involved the backward people to do work together. 3. Now mostly backward children can continue their study with joy. 4. We received a appreciation letter form Gram Pradhan and Aaganbaadi other community peoples. Hum bhi chale school
  • 8. @ After a DFC team’s motivation the community has come in support. @ On the name of competition each and every villager has become exited. @ Messages through rally and street plays have cast a great impact on the villagers and they have become ready to save their traditional music and songs. @ Today each and every villager of that village wants more programs on folk music.
