3. Overpopulation—
where is the
balance?
We consider urban environment features and
transform disadvantages and problems into new
opportunities for interesting solutions.
4. Solution
Operation of the application is based on data obtained from the urban environment monitoring
system.
It measures the density of the crowd in various parts of the city and on the basis of calculations
produces zones of the city, in which there are different infrastructures. Areas are colored according to
density, red — maximum, green — normal, gray — low.
Under low load the infrastructure areas have few customers and it's important for them to attract
more people.
In turn, for social groups it's easier to interact on the free areas. Here and there are the interests of
the two sides.
It's proposed to introduce points that will be monetized by the establishment of infrastructure area.
Considering the social groups, we can talk about such characteristics as common goals, activity and
interaction within groups. For example, we formed a social group based on nationality, but we are not
limiting entering it on this basis. For example, people can meet, transfer knowledge, and organize
master classes, to acquaint other people with their own culture, while taking advantage of a
convenient location with good infrastructure and at the same time it will be mutually beneficial
cooperation.
