- Find out your strength – through feedback analysis
Feedback analysis is the last step of planning process. In my principle of management class, my
professor emphasized that this important part is useful to find out the strengths and weakness.
And you can apply SWOT approach to improve your current plan and make a new and better
plan. Besides that, by using feedback, you will know which skills you should improve, which
skills you have to acquire, which are your advantages and disadvantages.
 You will know what to learn, how to improve your self.
- Do the works where you can apply your strengths to get the best achievements.
Specialization supports society to produce more products. You may not be a good teacher, but
you can do the good job of a manager. This point is very important, especially when you have to
choose the major of your career. Achievements are also motivation for you.
* I myself have researched my SWOT- strength, weakness, opportunity and thread. My
strengths are communication skills, and I have been educated in finance major, so I focus on
bank services marketing and development, because I will have chances to meet many people, to
use my ability to get contracts and also to acquire achievement in my favorite major.
- Do the works where you can improve your strengths
The more you practices, the better you are, and you will find it easier and easier to do that job,
which becomes familiar to you.
* By doing job in financial services major, I support services to customers, and I can
update my financial knowledge through my customers, my co-workers; and by meeting many

2. people, I will get life-experience, ways to communicate with people. My advantages are
improved, and that help me to get greater achievement in future.
- Do not do the works in areas where we have no talents or skills
You should not waste your effort, time, and resource when investing in areas where you have
low experience or knowledge - “area of low competence”. Instead of that, find out which majors
you have advantages in. By starting at the middle-level, it is easier for you to reach the high-level
of performance.
* I myself have tried to do accounting job at the beginning of 2nd university year,
because I thought that job will bring high earning. But after half a year pre-practicing at one
company, I found out this job-of-number is not suitable for me. My major is finance, and I
have been educated only one principle accounting course. It is not my advantage; I have low
experience or knowledge – so I give up.
- Do the works you like.
The author implied that you can try a second job – “may be a parallel job with 10-hour per
week”. It can be a social job with non-profit purpose, or a job in your favorite major, or the job
where you can use and improve your advantages.
* Many young men and women do many jobs at the same time, which brings high
earning level, experiences... while doing a financial job, I also spend my time on some social and
volunteering job – which allows me to improve my communication skills and also life
experience. In the future career, I think I will do some second job in stock market.
