This study aimed to identify factors predicting stretching exercise (SE) behaviors among 420 office employees in Iran using the health promotion model (HPM). The study found that perceived self-efficacy, commitment to a plan of action, and interpersonal influences positively predicted SE, while perceived barriers to action negatively predicted SE. Employees who were more confident and committed to a plan, perceived fewer barriers, and had social support were more likely to engage in regular SE. This study identified important factors for designing interventions to promote SE behaviors for preventing musculoskeletal disorders in office employees.
