RainwaterPrincipal / Consultant - Rainwater Resources Deanna (Dee) Rainwater is a highly motivated executive with more than 20 years of business experience and specialization in the supply chain discipline. Dee has proven results in delivering outstanding achievements for diversified businesses in challenging situations. This track record includes leading successful operational turnarounds for supply chain organizations, consolidating North America distribution centers, directing integration activities for a distribution supply chain organization and optimizing logistics networks as part of numerous multi-million dollar cost savings initiatives. Her career includes working in retail, direct-to-consumer channels, consumer products distribution, small parcel logistics and distribution and third party logistics environments.

Her consulting practice specializes in supply chain consulting, operational efficiency improvement strategies, leadership development, and social media promotions. Previously she was employed as Senior Director of North America Distribution for Applica Consumer Products, a $1 billion worldwide designer, marketer and distributor of Black and Decker small appliances. In executive supply chain management roles, she provided key leadership in the integration of the supply chains of two companies following an acquisition which saved over $10 million in annual supply chain costs. Additionally, she drove key organizational improvement initiatives which increased customer service levels, slashed annual SG&A costs by $7.6 million, reduced internal damages, improved distribution systems and operational processes, and achieved other results during her tenure from 2001 to 2009.

RainwaterCareer Path Dee launched her career in 1983 and held several leadership roles with United Parcel Service that included Distribution Center Manager and Human Resources Employment Services Manager supporting a 2,000 employee district. She was successful in turning around one of the worst facilities in Arkansas and won a “Most Improved Delivery Operations” Award. After leaving UPS in 1995, she joined Foot Locker, Inc. (formerly known as Woolworth Corporation), and served as General Manager overseeing nationwide distribution and logistics of a 734,000 sq. ft. facility and team that provided services to more than 600 Champs Sports retail stores. In 2000, Dee was recruited to Hanover Direct/Keystone Internet Services as Director of Operations. She was charged with transitioning a former Champs Sports facility to a third party direct marketing fulfillment organization, and met all business expectations and goals.

She currently resides near the shores of Lake Ouachita, which is located in the Ouachita National Forest near the resort city of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
