2. Introduction:
NEIGRIHMS was established by the Government of India in 1987. It
has been designed as a Postgraduate Medical Institute in lineage of
AIIMS, New Delhi and PGIMER, Chandigarh. It is the First
Postgraduate Medical Institute in the North Eastern Region and the
Third in the Country established by Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, Government of India. The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS
is organizing One day Regional Workshop on the theme
“Dissertation to Manuscripts: A transformation” to inculcate
scientific writing skills among the medical and nursing personnel.
Objectives:
On completion of workshop, the delegates will be able to:
 Acquire knowledge regarding writing Manuscripts
 Exhibit skills in writing good Manuscripts
 Appreciate the importance of Publications
Target Participants:
Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, Medical and Nursing
faculty, Staff Nurses with prior research experience,
Physiotherapists with prior research experience, Dietician with prior
research experience, Faculty of AYUSH and Naturopathy, Research
Scholars of all disciplines.
