• Performed Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Modeling and Sale of Large Capital Asset
that resulted in an annual cost savings of $4.6M.
o Analysis and the successful sale of the corporate aircraft lead to a significant cost
savings totaling $18.4M over four years.
• Negotiated restructuring of strategic software licensing contracts that created annual
savings of $2.7M in IT costs.
• Led the procurement and IS development team in the Software Manufacturing
Outsourcing Request for Proposal ( RFP ).
o Project allowed for move from capitalized in sourced production activity to an
outsourced software production system with a global software production
supplier.
o Project resulted in cost savings of approximately $4M in FY2006 due to
significantly lower fixed and variable costs.
• Directed the procurement and IS telecom team in a Global Telecom Request for
Proposal ( RFP ).
o Project resulted in the selection of a major telecom provider that reduced
expenses by approximately $13.7M ( 43.5% ) over three years.
o Strategic relationship will provide further decreases of approximately $1M in
2007 through new product / service offerings.
• Guided the procurement team in the evaluation and renegotiation of key IT contracts
within Covisint IT division.
o Reduced overall IT fixed costs by $30M over three years through strategic
partnership with four major IT suppliers and the renegotiation of contracts
resulting in 40% decrease in IT costs.

renegotiation of strategic supplier agreements.
