 About 26 Windows workstations and 15 Macs
 Both labs have the following
 B/W and Color Printers
 Student assistants to help
 Almost every application that you use in your
classes
Printing
 All students receive 120 credits for
printing each year
 Each B/W page is .10 credits
 Each color page is 1 credit
 Students can use these credits to:
 Print in the labs
 Use the PridePrint printers
(www.hofstra.edu/prideprint)
 Make Copies on the PridePrint multi-function
devices
 Single or double-sided copies are the
same number of credits
Internet
 Wireless
 Available throughout campus
 Wireless Networks
 HU Preferred – For computers and most mobile devices
 Requires a Hofstra username and password
 HU Guests – For gaming devices that can’t connect to
HU Preferred and for all guests
 Wired
 Resident hall network ports are not active by default
 You will need to submit a port activation request each
academic year and again if you move to a new room
at www.hofstra.edu/wired
 All active ports are deactivated at the end of
each Spring semester
