A Love Spell Research Paper
You Want To Do A Love Spell? Really? Let me start off by saying that if you are unhappy in your
life, no spell will make that all disappear. Happiness does not come from spells; it comes from you
knowing who you are, totally and honestly and from being one with nature. Before you can even
cast a spell, you must be ready to believe in yourself, to learn and understand yourself, challenge
your circumstances to change, and to listen while observing. When the underlying problem still
exists, a spell is not a magical band–aid that will make things all better. It is also very essential that
you understand that the basis of Wicca are to do no harm, which includes influencing the hearts and
souls of others. While a love spell may assist you in strengthening

Shakespeare: Magic and Supernatural Occurances Essay
Magic and supernatural occurrences in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III, and
The Tempest are used to create a surreal world to confuse and resolve conflicts in each play. Magic
provides the audience with an escape from reality and the comfort of the play's unrealistic nature. In
A Midsummer Night's Dream, a love potion from a magical flower is used and misused to provide
comic relief and resolution to love's difficulties, supernatural ghosts are used to condemn a horrific
murderer in Richard III to ensure his downfall and deserved death and finally, magic from
Prospero's book in The Tempest is used for his righteous revenge and harmony amongst the
characters. The Duke of Athens, Theseus, states, "the best in this kind ... Show more content on

In Act V, scene v, the 11 ghosts whom he has murdered bombard dreaming Richard. Each ghost
stops to speak to him to condemn him for his or her death and the ghost of Buckingham tells
Richard of his soon fate of, "d[ying] in terror of thy guiltiness!" (V.v. 124). The ghosts then proceed
to sleeping Richmond, telling him that they will be by his side and he will rule England and be the
gather of a race of kings. Terrified, Richard wakes up and presents a soliloquy displaying his first
presence of humane thoughts and feelings. Revealing self doubt, conscious, and regret for his
horrendous actions, he states, "what do I fear? Myself? There's none else by. / Richard loves
Richard; that is, I am I. / Is there a murderer here? No. Yes, I am" (V.v. 136–138). Richard is seized
with the renowned horror when he realizes that he is the most dangerous person he could be left
alone with. He then recalls upon an interesting idea after he discovered a way to flee from the
situation, "Why? / Lest I revenge. Myself upon myself?" (V.v. 139–140). After second guessing
himself due to supernatural ghosts, he is visited again by a mysterious inner demon from which even
he is not safe. He then moves past this thought by stating that he loves himself, but realizes that it is
an impossible thought because he has never done any loving acts, just hateful, villainous murders. In

Magic In King Arthur
Magic is something everyone has heard of and yet most people don't believe. Its presence is
everywhere if you read a myth about something, chances are it's going to have magic within the
story. Why is that? Well, magic is something people can describe something when they don't know
how it works. To explain the unexplainable. Magic is also a way for the story to create a visual
inside the mythic world of the hero's journey. In the story of King Arthur, a young 15–year–old boy
is able to pull a sword out a rock nobody else could to become the next king. The Sword trapped in
the rock being magically sent from God to pick out the next great leader of Britain. This magic
provides an explanation to show how Arthur became king. (King Arthur pg. 423–424). The magical
element in a story is usually the main conflict or the heroes saving in the myth without the magic the
story would be as good. People often told myths using gods and their magical powers or objects.
The ancient Greeks used magic to describe how the sun and moon went through the sky. For the sun
the Greeks believed Helios, one of the Titans, rode a magical sun chariot across the sky each day.
The sister of Helios, Selene would then drive a magical chariot across the sky in the night with the
moon (Helius, Selene). This would help the Greeks understand of the sun rose and set they used
magical beings sometimes to provide an understanding of how things worked. In mythology people
often used magic to create a story to

16th Century Wicca Witchcraft
The topic of religion is very controversial and at times, is seen as something negative. The practice
of witchcraft can be considered unholy and pure evil to some, but to others, it is a religion and a way
of life. Wicca, founded in England in the mid 20th century, is a religion based on pre–Christian
traditions that practices modern witchcraft. Witchcraft is often referred to the human usage of
supernatural powers for the malevolent purpose of practicing black magic ("History and
Background of Wicca"). The acceptance of those who were involved in sorcery was difficult for the
people of Great Britain. The negative reactions and thoughts affected the members of Wicca in
numerous ways. The practices of witchcraft in Great Britain lead to the influences and modern day
practices of the witches in the religion of Wicca.
In the 16th century, witchcraft became popular because people believed it had a better explanation
of unexpected unfortunate events, rather than the working of God's will ("Witchcraft"). It is
practiced by both men and women, but mostly stereotyped to only women. A typical witch was
described as being ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In most religions, there is a main God. In the religion of Wicca, there is a Goddess that is the focus
of worship ("Wicca Beliefs and Practices"). They believe all have a God or Goddess within, and one
will naturally develop gifts for divination ("Wicca Beliefs and Practices"). Every member has their
own spiritual path to follow. This belief is shared by many other religions as well. The rituals they
perform are associated with the seasons and moon phases. Wiccans also believe meditation,
chanting, rituals, burning candles, and other religious actions help set off a sense of the mystical
("Wicca Beliefs and Practices"). They do not believe in heaven or hell but they do believe in the
concept of karma and reincarnation ("Wicca Beliefs and

Similarities Between Dr Faustus And The Tempest
Magic vs. Magic In Marlowe's The Tragedy of Doctor Faustus and Shakespeare's The Tempest, the
two share several similarities when it comes to the control of magic. The main character Dr. Faustus
in Marlowe's play is a Renaissance scholar that has a strong desire to become famous. Dr. Faustus
wants to be a powerful magician and is willing to do whatever it takes to do so. The supernatural
aspect throughout Marlowe's Doctor Faustus focuses on how Dr. Faustus is willing to sell his soul in
return for him to become a powerful magician. Likewise, in Shakespeare's play The Tempest
Prospero uses his magic for the pursuit of power. Prospero's magic is the power of nature. In The
Tempest Prospero uses his magic to create a dramatic storm, to manipulate his enemies and to
arrange for his daughter to marry the Prince of Naples. The two works both have similar parallels
between the use of magic and how they acquire it, the connection of the time frame, and the realistic
supernatural aspects throughout the two plays. Although, the two have many similar characteristics,
the two plays have two dramatically different conclusions. In The Tragedy of Doctor Faustus and
The Tempest the two central characters share one prominent similarity. The two characters Prospero
and Faustus both have the control of magical powers. Their supernatural abilities rely on the way
they use them. "The supernatural in The Tempest work is very much based on the idea that a man
can control the supernatural with

Brave : An Animated Movie : Brave Movie Review
Brave is an animated movie for families to watch. This movie was set in the olden days of Scotland
and was released in theaters in 2012. The movie is one of the more recent animated film created by
Pixar. In 2012, it had children dragging their parents all over the world wanting to watch it. The
movie Brave is written and directed by Mark Andrews, he was a supervisor on Ratatouille, and The
Incredibles. This movie consists of a princess, her mum (the queen), her dad (the gruff king), and
her three little brothers, and lastly, the old witch who lives in the woods that owns a wood carving
shop.
Merida (the princess) is full of action. She is a red–haired tomboy whose life had changed with
getting a bow as a gift for her birthday. The bow inspires her to become the best archer in the
kingdom of Dun Broch. Merida reaches a point in her life were she becomes a lady, and has to pick
between three men to choose in her clan. On that day she is the first born and since she is the
princess she gets to choose what game the men have to play to when her heat. Merida doesn't have
to think she yells "I choose archery." She out beats the three doofuses which leads up to her faithful
flee into the dark and mysterious forest. While she is riding into the forest she comes upon the will–
o– the –wisps and they lead her to the cottage. She asks Angus, "why would the wisps lead us here."
She slowly walks in to the cottage full of wood work she looks around to see if she likes anything.
Merida sees the broom move by itself and confronts the wood cover as a witch. She wants a spell to
change her mum to change her fate.
The spell is supposed to just change the Queen's mind, but it turns her mum into a bear. The magic
spell comes with a departure clause. She has precisely two days to reverse the charm. If she doesn't
her mum will become a bear forever. The movie slowly builds up, and it never manages to fill in the
most significant details. This movie has significant lapses that harm the movie, they enhance the
feeling along the stereotypes which are the queen, the king and the restless teenager and lastly her
three crazy brothers. However, they do not find the depth prospection like they did in the movie The
Incredibles.

Queen Brangomar Book Report
You want to know about me? Wow, I anticipated that being a witch would have turned people away,
especially after what I did. There are things you need to know about me to genuinely understand me
and why I helped Queen Brangomar. The first matter I believe to discuss with you is have you ever
heard of not asking a woman, their age. You are not supposed to. Though, I will tell you, I am very
old. I do have a family, well a family of witches. There are some evil and good witches and yes, we
do irritate each other. We fight like no other, but we are family. I was born and raised in Salem in a
witch family. No one knew about us because my parents were amazing witches. They did not hex

interact with people like I have always wanted and not have any fear and threaten to kill me like
they did my parents. I also do not have any fear that my evil family members can find me since I did
not go back to where I was and I am in the princess' castle. I can live a normal life and die normally
since I do not have my magic to keep me alive. I will now tell you my age since when I gave up my
magic I turned myself back to being 75 years old. I love seeing Snow White and the prince and the

The Four Powers Of The WitchesTemple
Also known as, the Four Powers of the Witches' Temple, the Witch's Pyramid, is the basis for all
magickal work, symbolizes the belief that is required to create magick and the traits to be accepted
by all witches. It is the learning tool for pupils of the Craft. There are four declarations that
epitomize The Witch's Pyramid: To Know, To Will, To Dare, and To Keep Silent. Each one of the
influences is linked with a direction as well as an element. each of these powers can be applied as a
way of seeing a method to study. In order for a Witch to have a perfect understanding of anything,
all these powers should be present.
Nescere – To Know: Corresponds to the direction of the East and the element of Air. It is the first
pillar. As witches, we pledge to a lifetime search of knowledge. This knowledge can be extended
from books, experience, teachers, and so on. It has long been said, "knowledge is power." This is so
true. To be better witches, we need to continue to improve ourselves. When starting an education of
the Craft, we, as Witches must know our information. As Air is related to communication,
consciousness, and the intelligence, this is where the simple school–like information is learned.
Starting with in what way do you perform a basic ritual? the planetary correspondences, what the
Esbats and Sabbats are, this goes on. For the most part this comes from studying, asking questions,
reading and talking with others. Since East is the position of new introductions, it

Wicca Draws From The Old Traditions Of Witchcraft
I thought that Wicca was a cult, not a religion, and that everyone within this cult was considered a
witch. However, I was wrong. Through my research, I found out that "Wicca draws from the Old
Traditions of Witchcraft" (Herne) and that they are pretty similar, but they are not the same. The
Celtic Connection explains that, "one can be a Witch, without being a Wiccan, just as a person can
be a Christian, without being a Baptist" (Herne). Also, Wicca is considered a religion, but Witchcraft
is not.
The Celtic Connection describes the Wicca Religion as a "very peaceful, harmonious and balanced
way of life which promotes oneness with the divine and all which exists" (Herne). This description
is very different from the dark, trickster view I had from this religion. ... Show more content on

The first rite of handfasting is 'for a year and a day, or as long as love shall stay.' This can be
considered a sort of trial union for very serious couples. If a couple is still serious after this, they
may go through a second rite of handfasting, which usually involves a legal marriage agreement.
There is also a third rite, called a handparting, which is the Wiccan version of divorce. However,
unlike most divorces where the couple are fighting over who gets what stuff, Wiccans are meant to
remain friends when parting, and always be open to being together again if they choose" (Gregory
Meyers).
"Perhaps one of the most controversial practices of Wicca is skyclad worship...Skyclad means
'complete nudity.' Those who practice it in a religious manner are not doing so as a form of sexual
deviancy, but rather to bring themselves closer to their gods. Skyclad worship often features in
Wiccan rituals because Wicca is a fertility religion. It is fairly rare for actual sexual acts to be
performed as part of a public ritual; instead the union of the athame and the chalice are used
symbolically" (Gregory

The First Pipell: The Verdimillious Charm
The first spell I will talk about is the Verdimillious Charm. This charm whenever used, shoots out
green sparks. When you use them as defense, it will only blast the foe away or hurt them a little bit.
After this charm has been used in a fight, you have to either fly away or use another charm right
away while the opponent is still off guard.
If you use the spell in an essential way, it can light up any dark place and also uncover any hidden
object that's been made invisible by magic. This is also more commonly known as a flashlight in the
muggle world.
Both of these charms can be used by saying vur–duh–mill–ee–us; however, to use it in a defense
way, put your wand forward in a "slashing" motion. Make sure your wand is pointed at your
opponent.

Magic And Ritual Of The Trobriand Islanders
Magic and ritual are often associated with vengeful gods and bloody sacrifices, possibly due to their
representation in book, movies, and other forms of entertainment. One might think that they have no
power to bring a community together, other than through fear. However, through the lives of the
Trobriand islanders, well observed by the polish anthropologist and ethnographer Bronisław
Malinowski, we see that rituals and customs maintained by a powerful connection to magic is a
mechanism of social order and betterment where a traditional government does not exist. Magic,
therefore, is a power handed to man via tradition to control his creation and its nature is that of "a
social force" (Malinowski 1922: 397). Malinowski's study of the Trobriand islanders set the tone for
a new method of study through his solidification of the functionalist perspective. By throwing off
the convention that forms of religion, governments, and economies progress towards a "modern" or
evolutionarily advanced system, Malinowski was able to demonstrate the possibility of a different
means of social cohesion existing in the modern world.
"A notable change with regard to evolutionism is to be found in the functionalist theory of
Malinowski. For him, magic, religion, and science do not represent in any way a progressive
sequence. They coexist in the same social environment and each provides its own specific
contribution (function) towards satisfying individual and social needs."

Witches And Witches : Witches Essay
"Have you ever wondered if Magic or witches and wizards really exist in this modern world? Well
yes, they do exist, and they are quite active in the modern world. There are more than 10 million
witches in the United States, with new practitioners on the rise daily."(Caine) Being a witch is much
different than what you may have seen in the movies. There is real magic to the craft, but witches or
wizards don 't walk around turning people into to frogs with a flick of their magic wands. They don
't disappear into thin air, nor do they fly around through the night on broomsticks. They also don 't
live in a big castle or mansion. They walk around as normal people and you wouldn 't be able to tell
them apart for anyone else. The art of real witchcraft is one of the oldest practices in the world. "The
oldest instruments of the real craft that have been discovered date back to 40,000 years ago, while
the practice of real witchcraft dates back to paleolithic times. It is very much a way of life, as you
may have heard from the modern followers of Wicca. During the middle ages, and in the event
known as The Inquisition, the practice of witchcraft became outlawed throughout most of the
Christianized world, an offense punishable by death."(Caine) A witchcraft frenzy broke out in the
early colonial history of America in Salem, Massachusetts. Insane torture tactics were put in by the
church to draw out confessions. This period of time is often cited as the start of "the burning times."

Witch Craft Research Paper
Continuity of the Witch's Craft lay within its ability to shift its shape accordingly to any given time,
culture or belief within society spanning back thousands of years. Being an adversarial magical art,
both practice and bless, classical witchcraft is seeded in our ancestral memory and boils to the
surface during times of oppression and suffering. Historically, witchcraft has shown itself to be the
counter–current of any given society mainly being picked up and practiced by common folk as a
means of retribution against an aggressor, oppressor, or offender. In the modern age, there has been a
white–washing of the magical practices of witches that arose during the 50's & 60's which regards
witchcraft and its magical feats more beneficent and less malevolent. This was spearheaded by the
late Gerald B. Gardner to smooth public relations in a time when British witchcraft laws were being
repealed and the modern counter–currents were making headway in music, cinema, literature, social
justice, and art. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Witches were still cursing, changing the weather, blasting cattle and conjuring the dead, in fact, old
Gardner himself was doing these feats as well, yet relationships needed to be smoothed for the sake
of growth, which later caused stagnation in the subject of witchcraft in the greater public halls and
books. Thus, many practitioners of both formally trained and academia are leading the way to bring
Classical Witchcraft and its many meanings back to the forefront of the conversation to try and bring
more depth back to a subject that suffered at the hands of lightweights for too long. There are quite a
few exceptional publications who make it their duty to bring their readers concise, historically
accurate, functional, and deep information for their studies, enjoyment, and prosperity of mind. Such

Wicca Religion
Witchcraft commonly means the practice of, and belief in, magical skills and abilities that are able to
be exercised individually by assigned social groups, usually referred to as a Coven, or by persons
with the necessary mystical confidential knowledge. The practice of Wicca has the same ideas and
rituals as witchcraft but instead follows it closer and more intently than those who practice
witchcraft. Wicca is often portrayed in a positive light on popular television shows, such as Sabrina
The Teenage Witch and Supernatural but with the growth of the Wiccans on TV it has not been
shown with respect and understanding for the religion. Wicca is much more complex of a religion
than just a twirl of a wand, black hat and a broom stick.

Wicca is a predominantly western movement, whose followers partake in witchcraft and nature
worship. Followers of Wicca see it as a religion based on pre–Christian tradition from Europe. As
the coven members master the practice of the magic and become familiarized with rituals, they must
pass through two degrees of initiation. There is a third degree but this is for those who wish to enter
priesthood. Gardner's system priority is given to the priestess and leader in the Gardnerian society
one will trace their expertise through a lineage of priestesses all the way back to Gardner's coven.
Regardless of some variation within the Wiccan community, most followers share a general set of
beliefs and practices. Wiccans worship is polytheistic and always includes an exalted concept of a
goddess as being similar to the preeminent level of divinity. They believe in goddesses, have respect
for nature, and have both polytheistic and pantheistic views. Some Wiccans do accept the so–called
Wiccan Rede, which is an ethical code that states "if it harm none, do what you will." Wiccans
maintain a belief in meditation and they will participate in rituals throughout the year, celebrating
the new and full moon, as well as the vernal equinox, summer solstice, and Halloween, also known
as Samhain by Wiccans. Worships in coven occur according to the phases of the moon, Monthly
meetings are referred to as esbats. Wicca ceremonies include invoking the service of the deities,
practicing ceremonial magic, and sharing a ritual

My First Ever Defence Against The Dark Arts Lesson
Lesson 1: Introduction
Yesterday was my first ever Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson! I can tell it's going to be my
favourite subject, well, maybe joint favourite along with Charms. We met our Professor, Melanie
Silvers, who seems absolutely lovely. I've heard stories about how lots of professors in the past,
before the Second Wizarding War, ended up having to leave after only one year, so I hope that
doesn't happen to Professor Silvers. We received our syllabus, which looks so exciting! So many
different spells and creatures to look at each week!
We learned two incantations yesterday; the Wand–Lighting Charm and the Wand–Extinguishing
Charm, and I have been practising them both in my spare time. The Wand–Lighting Charm, Lumos,

really exciting to be using a spell that simple requires a flick of the wrist and a short word!
Lesson 2: Bright Lights and a Little Softener
A few days ago we learned about Verdimillious and Spongify. I have since had the chance to try out

when I tripped on a tree root and fell over. I think I was unconscious for some time and when I
awoke it was quite dark. I tried to move, but I had broken my ankle. I needed to find a way of
alerting someone to where I was. My muggle grandfather had taught me Morse code when I was
younger, so I thought I might be able to use it with Lumos to attract attention. My head hurt and I
wasn't able to concentrate properly, so after saying "Lumos!" I could only see a faint white light that
wouldn't really attract any attention at all. I realise now that I had forgotten to think about charging
the spell properly! I took a few moments to rest.

However, because she's an elf the idea of her having magic powers isn't as unique as the idea of a
human girl learning that she has the ability to make magical toys.
There are a lot of different paths or directions the story can take and it will all depend on the true
goal, as well as the inner struggle and emotional goal of the main protagonist.
Right now as structured, the pace feels sluggish. That's because the main protagonist isn't clear and
because the goal is not well defined until ate. Once the goal is established it gives the script more
focus. This is really where the real story begins. The story becomes much more engaging when the
girls decide to make magically toys and compete with Mr. Christmas.
Maybe add a contest where the toys compete against each other and the kids decide what are the
best toys with the stakes being Christmas. To add more tension, maybe Tucker sabotages Holly and
she lose her magical powers or abilities (the all is lost moment) and then she figures out how to get

Research Paper On St Aeila
The saint of self preservation, Saint Aeila was once an esteemed debutante that frequently visited the
many courts of high nobles throughout the Brasmantian Empire. She was one of Europe's most
desired mistresses. Saint Aeila was not only renowned for her beauty, but also for her intellect and
ability to charm the elite groups of nobles. Most people thought her presence was absolutely
magical, little did they know how true this rung.
Aeila was once an unattractive child constantly picked on for how different she looked compared to
the other children. She constantly had self doubts and most likely wouldn't have made it if the
goddess Alcmene never came to her aid in a dream one evening. Alcmene was said to have spoken
to her, which not only inspired her but gave her a brief boost of confidence. Certainly, at first, ...

Social Dance : An Exceptional Method
Social dance is an exceptional method to conjugate with other individuals in a social setting. Rather
than viewing a dance performance in an auditorium or participating in a dance class at a studio, I
experienced social dancing at my cousin's wedding. The wedding clearly defined different social
values with its environment, attendees, and especially, the dance movements.
The location of the wedding brought a very warm atmosphere to the abundance of the people
present. Each person greeting one another while gazing at the decorations of the venue. The
decorations consisted of silk, white, long draping along each of the four walls. Underneath the
draping were red and orange lights, reflecting off the drapes. The centerpieces were tall and
elaborate with branches, fall–colored leaves and pearls, contributing to the wedding's autumn theme.
People were scattered around in the grand ballroom of the hotel, either eating the scrumptious food
or congratulating the newlywed couple. While women and men dressed in couture dresses and
pressed suits, the little children wore petite cupcake dresses or a little suit and tie. After everyone
situated themselves an hour later, the dancing commenced, and the social atmosphere greatly
increased.
Joyous laughter and countless dance styles pervaded the dance floor as the intense music played in
the ballroom. People of all ages were dancing on the floor from little children to teenagers and
adults to the elderly. There was about an even number of

Witchcraft
The concept of witchcraft and the belief in its existence has existed since the dawn of human history.
It has been present or central at various times, and in many diverse forms, among cultures and
religions worldwide, including both "primitive" and "highly advanced" cultures, and continues to
have an important role in many cultures today.
Historically, the predominant concept of witchcraft in the Western world derives from Old
Testament laws against witchcraft, and entered the mainstream when belief in witchcraft gained
Church approval in the Early Modern Period. It posits a theosophical conflict between good and
evil, where witchcraft was generally evil and often associated with the Devil and Devil worship.
This culminated in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Malleus Maleficarum, (Latin for "Hammer of The Witches) was a witch–hunting manual
written in 1486 by two German monks, Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Sprenger. It was used by both
Catholics and Protestants[26] for several hundred years, outlining how to identify a witch, what
makes a woman more likely than a man to be a witch, how to put a witch on trial, and how to punish
a witch. The book defines a witch as evil and typically female. The book became the handbook for
secular courts throughout Renaissance Europe, but was not used by the Inquisition, which even
cautioned against relying on the work,[27] and was later officially condemned by the Catholic
Church in 1490. * White witches
Folk magicians throughout Europe were often viewed ambivalently by communities, and were
considered as capable of harming as of healing,[30] which could lead to their being accused as
"witches" in the negative sense. Many English "witches" convicted of consorting with demons seem
to have been cunning folk whose fairy familiars had been demonised;[31] many French devins–
guerisseurs("diviner–healers") were accused of witchcraft,[32] and over one half the accused
witches in Hungary seem to have been healers.[33]Some of the healers and diviners historically
accused of witchcraft have considered themselves mediators between the mundane and spiritual
worlds, roughly equivalent to shamans.[34] Such people described their contacts with fairies, spirits

The Tricky Goblin And The Green Goo
CHAPTER TWENTY – FOUR
The Tricky Goblin and the Green Goo
I must have lost my footing somehow during my slip through the mirror because I fall out of it and
crashed with a with a painful thud on my bedroom floor. I looked up. My room was dark, but a door
was ajar in the kitchen, and light from a fixture stretched across the hallway. I untangled my feet and
rose. Then silently crept into the living room, hid behind the sofa, and peeked over the top. Gordok
sitting at the table eating some kind of green gunk and giggling with a group of witches. I stood up
and the look in his eyes made my blood run cold! "You–u–u ..." he hissed his face even brighter
green then the goo. One of the witches picked up a glop off the plate and threw it at me. It landed on
my forehead and dripped off my nose and onto my chin. "Eww ... what is this disgusting stuff?" I
asked wiping it off with the back of my sleeve. The goblin bared his fangs and his beady eyes began
to glow. "Shut up and hand it over boy!" "I suppose you want this?" I said daggling the key out in
front of me. The witches scramble to their feet. I ran down the hall and into my room, slamming the
door and locking it behind me. Gordok started to pound on the door. "The jig is up boy. Just give us
what we want and I 'll let your Parent 's go." Why am I running I thought as I pulled the wand out
from beneath my vest. "How do I know that you 're not just say that," I shouted back. "Have I ever

Dancers Deserves to Have The Titles of Athletes
Albert Einstein once said "Dancers are the athletes of God." Dancers deserve to have the title of
athlete, to start, take a look at the definition of an athlete "a person trained or gifted in exercises or
contests involving physical agility, stamina, or strength" (dictionary). While dancing requires great
artistry, artistry is just one aspect of dance, because there is clearly an athletic side as well. Dancers
athletic side is not seen by many because of the reality of what is seen on stage, but is what is seen
on stage all of it? The amount of passion and dedication dancers have leads to countless hours at the
studio every week. With the many genres of dance to choose from, each involve athleticism one way
or another. The many different options make it easier for a dancer to branch out and explore new
ways of fulfilling their dreams. Dancers need to stop being underestimated by everyone, they need
everyone to see them as athletes and artists. The side of dancers that the world gets to see is not what
really goes on. While a performance on a stage may look flawless, the amount of work put into
making it look like that is completely underestimated.
A pretty, perfect ballerina with a pink tutu, twirling with her arms above her head; ladylike hair with
a Barbie–like face–these are the stereotypical images of dancers that come to most people's minds.
The real image is a sweaty dancer with ripped shoes, broken toes, blood coming out of her tights,
and that's really what dance

Ceice Brown Prologue
Prologue
Cece Brown was not scared, not even a little. She was a very strong girl, people had often thought,
but even now they expected her to be at least a little nervous. Cece was standing at the edge of a
group of witches and wizards, her face wiped of any emotion she may feel inside. As the people of
the group sometimes neared her, she would glare at them, her eyes piercing into theirs; a silent
declaration to say, "I do not like you." The underground compound of the WWA she was in was
decorated with banners and flags. It was a very special date, the day in which the next Head would
be chosen. A small group of witches and wizards stood in the middle of a raised platform located in
the center of the room. They were almost ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Their mouths hung open in surprise as the former dead Joseph sat up, alive and well. There was a
scar on his neck from the wound he had died from. A giant dog had torn him apart, the greatest loss
of blood coming from his jugular vein in his throat. Cecelia could tell that is how he died, the
evidence was obvious, but that didn't stop everybody to be so surprised at a ten–year–old witch
performing such a high–level spell such as Necromancy. Necromancy was usually only used in the
Choosing Ceremony. It was illegal if used elsewhere without the Head's permission. To bring
someone back from the dead using Necromancy was an extremely high leveled magic spell, and the
user risks losing their life as they perform it. A witch or wizard uses their own life energy and
willpower to bring back a person, animal, or other creature from the dead. This is risky. If the caster
fails the spell and uses too much life force, they tend to die. But of course, Cecilia already knew
this. It was all in the special book. Cecilia helped the man up. His blond hair was covered with bits
of blood and dirt and his clothes were tattered and torn to shreds. He probably never got a proper
funeral, Cecilia inferred as she analyzed his

Examples Of Shallow Charms
Using multiple Shallow Charms on an object isn't a very good idea, as it can end up in a very
execrable situation. If you are a inexperienced witch or wizard; this is not safe in any way
whatsoever. This should not be experimented with; as the object may explode and cause extreme
injury to you or anyone else around you. This should only be done by someone who knows
distinctly what they are doing. Deep Object Charming is the art of creating a unfaltering magical
entity. Shallow Charming is casting a spell that has effects on object, but does not have a lot of
longevity. The difference between these two things is that Shallow Charms are not absorbed on an

In the ceremony, the dancers line up in two lines dancing while portraying goats. The dancers wear
outfits made of white silk thread with normal tennis shoes and socks. The mask, of course, is the
most important aspect of the attire. Mask makers typically decorate the masks with horns, a head–
dress, or both. They also usually paint them in bright colors, such as the one found on

Essay On Reino De La Magia
In a world far from ours where magic was essential for life, there was a kingdom named Reino de la

Carmen. In this world, it was possible to transfer magic but doing so was very dangerous. Once the
magic of someone's body had disappeared, they would disappear too. To find someone to transfer
the magic willingly was the only problem for Alejandro and Carmen, though. They did not care
about what would happen to the people they stole the magic from. The king and queen were not

Tyrania are educated up until they are 18 years of age. On their 18th birthday, all citizens are

A Love Spell Research Paper

  • 1. A Love Spell Research Paper You Want To Do A Love Spell? Really? Let me start off by saying that if you are unhappy in your life, no spell will make that all disappear. Happiness does not come from spells; it comes from you knowing who you are, totally and honestly and from being one with nature. Before you can even cast a spell, you must be ready to believe in yourself, to learn and understand yourself, challenge your circumstances to change, and to listen while observing. When the underlying problem still exists, a spell is not a magical band–aid that will make things all better. It is also very essential that you understand that the basis of Wicca are to do no harm, which includes influencing the hearts and souls of others. • 3. Shakespeare: Magic and Supernatural Occurances Essay Magic and supernatural occurrences in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III, and The Tempest are used to create a surreal world to confuse and resolve conflicts in each play. Magic provides the audience with an escape from reality and the comfort of the play's unrealistic nature. In A Midsummer Night's Dream, a love potion from a magical flower is used and misused to provide comic relief and resolution to love's difficulties, supernatural ghosts are used to condemn a horrific murderer in Richard III to ensure his downfall and deserved death and finally, magic from Prospero's book in The Tempest is used for his righteous revenge and harmony amongst the characters. The Duke of Athens, Theseus, states, "the best in this kind ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Act V, scene v, the 11 ghosts whom he has murdered bombard dreaming Richard. Each ghost stops to speak to him to condemn him for his or her death and the ghost of Buckingham tells Richard of his soon fate of, "d[ying] in terror of thy guiltiness!" (V.v. 124). The ghosts then proceed to sleeping Richmond, telling him that they will be by his side and he will rule England and be the gather of a race of kings. Terrified, Richard wakes up and presents a soliloquy displaying his first presence of humane thoughts and feelings. Revealing self doubt, conscious, and regret for his horrendous actions, he states, "what do I fear? Myself? There's none else by. / Richard loves Richard; that is, I am I. / Is there a murderer here? No. Yes, I am" (V.v. 136–138). Richard is seized with the renowned horror when he realizes that he is the most dangerous person he could be left alone with. He then recalls upon an interesting idea after he discovered a way to flee from the situation, "Why? / Lest I revenge. Myself upon myself?" (V.v. 139–140). After second guessing himself due to supernatural ghosts, he is visited again by a mysterious inner demon from which even he is not safe. He then moves past this thought by stating that he loves himself, but realizes that it is an impossible thought because he has never done any loving acts, just hateful, villainous murders. Its presence is everywhere if you read a myth about something, chances are it's going to have magic within the story. Why is that? Well, magic is something people can describe something when they don't know how it works. To explain the unexplainable. Magic is also a way for the story to create a visual inside the mythic world of the hero's journey. In the story of King Arthur, a young 15–year–old boy is able to pull a sword out a rock nobody else could to become the next king. The Sword trapped in the rock being magically sent from God to pick out the next great leader of Britain. This magic provides an explanation to show how Arthur became king. (King Arthur pg. 423–424). The magical element in a story is usually the main conflict or the heroes saving in the myth without the magic the story would be as good. People often told myths using gods and their magical powers or objects. The ancient Greeks used magic to describe how the sun and moon went through the sky. For the sun the Greeks believed Helios, one of the Titans, rode a magical sun chariot across the sky each day. The sister of Helios, Selene would then drive a magical chariot across the sky in the night with the moon (Helius, Selene). • 10. 16th Century Wicca Witchcraft The topic of religion is very controversial and at times, is seen as something negative. The practice of witchcraft can be considered unholy and pure evil to some, but to others, it is a religion and a way of life. Wicca, founded in England in the mid 20th century, is a religion based on pre–Christian traditions that practices modern witchcraft. Witchcraft is often referred to the human usage of supernatural powers for the malevolent purpose of practicing black magic ("History and Background of Wicca"). The acceptance of those who were involved in sorcery was difficult for the people of Great Britain. The negative reactions and thoughts affected the members of Wicca in numerous ways. The practices of witchcraft in Great Britain lead to the influences and modern day practices of the witches in the religion of Wicca. In the 16th century, witchcraft became popular because people believed it had a better explanation of unexpected unfortunate events, rather than the working of God's will ("Witchcraft"). It is practiced by both men and women, but mostly stereotyped to only women. A typical witch was described as being ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 12. Similarities Between Dr Faustus And The Tempest Magic vs. Magic In Marlowe's The Tragedy of Doctor Faustus and Shakespeare's The Tempest, the two share several similarities when it comes to the control of magic. The main character Dr. Faustus in Marlowe's play is a Renaissance scholar that has a strong desire to become famous. Dr. Faustus wants to be a powerful magician and is willing to do whatever it takes to do so. The supernatural aspect throughout Marlowe's Doctor Faustus focuses on how Dr. Faustus is willing to sell his soul in return for him to become a powerful magician. Likewise, in Shakespeare's play The Tempest Prospero uses his magic for the pursuit of power. Prospero's magic is the power of nature. In The Tempest Prospero uses his magic to create a dramatic storm, to manipulate his enemies and to arrange for his daughter to marry the Prince of Naples. The two works both have similar parallels between the use of magic and how they acquire it, the connection of the time frame, and the realistic supernatural aspects throughout the two plays. Although, the two have many similar characteristics, the two plays have two dramatically different conclusions. In The Tragedy of Doctor Faustus and The Tempest the two central characters share one prominent similarity. The two characters Prospero and Faustus both have the control of magical powers. Their supernatural abilities rely on the way they use them. "The supernatural in The Tempest work is very much based on the idea that a man can control the supernatural with ... The movie is one of the more recent animated film created by Pixar. In 2012, it had children dragging their parents all over the world wanting to watch it. The movie Brave is written and directed by Mark Andrews, he was a supervisor on Ratatouille, and The Incredibles. This movie consists of a princess, her mum (the queen), her dad (the gruff king), and her three little brothers, and lastly, the old witch who lives in the woods that owns a wood carving shop. Merida (the princess) is full of action. She is a red–haired tomboy whose life had changed with getting a bow as a gift for her birthday. The bow inspires her to become the best archer in the kingdom of Dun Broch. Merida reaches a point in her life were she becomes a lady, and has to pick between three men to choose in her clan. On that day she is the first born and since she is the princess she gets to choose what game the men have to play to when her heat. Merida doesn't have to think she yells "I choose archery." She out beats the three doofuses which leads up to her faithful flee into the dark and mysterious forest. While she is riding into the forest she comes upon the will– o– the –wisps and they lead her to the cottage. She asks Angus, "why would the wisps lead us here." She slowly walks in to the cottage full of wood work she looks around to see if she likes anything. Merida sees the broom move by itself and confronts the wood cover as a witch. She wants a spell to change her mum to change her fate. The spell is supposed to just change the Queen's mind, but it turns her mum into a bear. The magic spell comes with a departure clause. She has precisely two days to reverse the charm. If she doesn't her mum will become a bear forever. The movie slowly builds up, and it never manages to fill in the most significant details. This movie has significant lapses that harm the movie, they enhance the feeling along the stereotypes which are the queen, the king and the restless teenager and lastly her three crazy brothers. The Four Powers Of The WitchesTemple Also known as, the Four Powers of the Witches' Temple, the Witch's Pyramid, is the basis for all magickal work, symbolizes the belief that is required to create magick and the traits to be accepted by all witches. It is the learning tool for pupils of the Craft. There are four declarations that epitomize The Witch's Pyramid: To Know, To Will, To Dare, and To Keep Silent. Each one of the influences is linked with a direction as well as an element. each of these powers can be applied as a way of seeing a method to study. In order for a Witch to have a perfect understanding of anything, all these powers should be present. Nescere – To Know: Corresponds to the direction of the East and the element of Air. It is the first pillar. As witches, we pledge to a lifetime search of knowledge. This knowledge can be extended from books, experience, teachers, and so on. It has long been said, "knowledge is power." This is so true. To be better witches, we need to continue to improve ourselves. When starting an education of the Craft, we, as Witches must know our information. As Air is related to communication, consciousness, and the intelligence, this is where the simple school–like information is learned. • 22. Wicca Draws From The Old Traditions Of Witchcraft I thought that Wicca was a cult, not a religion, and that everyone within this cult was considered a witch. However, I was wrong. Through my research, I found out that "Wicca draws from the Old Traditions of Witchcraft" (Herne) and that they are pretty similar, but they are not the same. The Celtic Connection explains that, "one can be a Witch, without being a Wiccan, just as a person can be a Christian, without being a Baptist" (Herne). Also, Wicca is considered a religion, but Witchcraft is not. The Celtic Connection describes the Wicca Religion as a "very peaceful, harmonious and balanced way of life which promotes oneness with the divine and all which exists" (Herne). This description is very different from the dark, trickster view I had from this religion. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The first rite of handfasting is 'for a year and a day, or as long as love shall stay.' This can be considered a sort of trial union for very serious couples. There is also a third rite, called a handparting, which is the Wiccan version of divorce. However, unlike most divorces where the couple are fighting over who gets what stuff, Wiccans are meant to remain friends when parting, and always be open to being together again if they choose" (Gregory Meyers). "Perhaps one of the most controversial practices of Wicca is skyclad worship...Skyclad means 'complete nudity.' Those who practice it in a religious manner are not doing so as a form of sexual deviancy, but rather to bring themselves closer to their gods. Skyclad worship often features in Wiccan rituals because Wicca is a fertility religion. It is fairly rare for actual sexual acts to be performed as part of a public ritual; instead the union of the athame and the chalice are used symbolically" (Gregory ... When you use them as defense, it will only blast the foe away or hurt them a little bit. After this charm has been used in a fight, you have to either fly away or use another charm right away while the opponent is still off guard. If you use the spell in an essential way, it can light up any dark place and also uncover any hidden object that's been made invisible by magic. This is also more commonly known as a flashlight in the muggle world. • 26. Magic And Ritual Of The Trobriand Islanders Magic and ritual are often associated with vengeful gods and bloody sacrifices, possibly due to their representation in book, movies, and other forms of entertainment. One might think that they have no power to bring a community together, other than through fear. However, through the lives of the Trobriand islanders, well observed by the polish anthropologist and ethnographer Bronisław Malinowski, we see that rituals and customs maintained by a powerful connection to magic is a mechanism of social order and betterment where a traditional government does not exist. Magic, therefore, is a power handed to man via tradition to control his creation and its nature is that of "a social force" (Malinowski 1922: 397). Malinowski's study of the Trobriand islanders set the tone for a new method of study through his solidification of the functionalist perspective. By throwing off the convention that forms of religion, governments, and economies progress towards a "modern" or evolutionarily advanced system, Malinowski was able to demonstrate the possibility of a different means of social cohesion existing in the modern world. "A notable change with regard to evolutionism is to be found in the functionalist theory of Malinowski. For him, magic, religion, and science do not represent in any way a progressive sequence. They coexist in the same social environment and each provides its own specific contribution (function) towards satisfying individual and social needs." By seeing these ... • 28. Witches And Witches : Witches Essay "Have you ever wondered if Magic or witches and wizards really exist in this modern world? Well yes, they do exist, and they are quite active in the modern world. There are more than 10 million witches in the United States, with new practitioners on the rise daily."(Caine) Being a witch is much different than what you may have seen in the movies. There is real magic to the craft, but witches or wizards don 't walk around turning people into to frogs with a flick of their magic wands. They don 't disappear into thin air, nor do they fly around through the night on broomsticks. They also don 't live in a big castle or mansion. They walk around as normal people and you wouldn 't be able to tell them apart for anyone else. The art of real witchcraft is one of the oldest practices in the world. "The oldest instruments of the real craft that have been discovered date back to 40,000 years ago, while the practice of real witchcraft dates back to paleolithic times. It is very much a way of life, as you may have heard from the modern followers of Wicca. During the middle ages, and in the event known as The Inquisition, the practice of witchcraft became outlawed throughout most of the Christianized world, an offense punishable by death."(Caine) A witchcraft frenzy broke out in the early colonial history of America in Salem, Massachusetts. Insane torture tactics were put in by the church to draw out confessions. This period of time is often cited as the start of "the burning times." ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Witch Craft Research Paper Continuity of the Witch's Craft lay within its ability to shift its shape accordingly to any given time, culture or belief within society spanning back thousands of years. Being an adversarial magical art, both practice and bless, classical witchcraft is seeded in our ancestral memory and boils to the surface during times of oppression and suffering. Historically, witchcraft has shown itself to be the counter–current of any given society mainly being picked up and practiced by common folk as a means of retribution against an aggressor, oppressor, or offender. In the modern age, there has been a white–washing of the magical practices of witches that arose during the 50's & 60's which regards witchcraft and its magical feats more beneficent and less malevolent. This was spearheaded by the late Gerald B. Gardner to smooth public relations in a time when British witchcraft laws were being repealed and the modern counter–currents were making headway in music, cinema, literature, social justice, and art. ... Witches were still cursing, changing the weather, blasting cattle and conjuring the dead, in fact, old Gardner himself was doing these feats as well, yet relationships needed to be smoothed for the sake of growth, which later caused stagnation in the subject of witchcraft in the greater public halls and books. Thus, many practitioners of both formally trained and academia are leading the way to bring Classical Witchcraft and its many meanings back to the forefront of the conversation to try and bring more depth back to a subject that suffered at the hands of lightweights for too long. Wicca is a predominantly western movement, whose followers partake in witchcraft and nature worship. Followers of Wicca see it as a religion based on pre–Christian tradition from Europe. There is a third degree but this is for those who wish to enter priesthood. The Malleus Maleficarum, (Latin for "Hammer of The Witches) was a witch–hunting manual written in 1486 by two German monks, Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Sprenger. It was used by both Catholics and Protestants[26] for several hundred years, outlining how to identify a witch, what makes a woman more likely than a man to be a witch, how to put a witch on trial, and how to punish a witch. The book defines a witch as evil and typically female. The book became the handbook for secular courts throughout Renaissance Europe, but was not used by the Inquisition, which even cautioned against relying on the work,[27] and was later officially condemned by the Catholic Church in 1490. * White witches Folk magicians throughout Europe were often viewed ambivalently by communities, and were considered as capable of harming as of healing,[30] which could lead to their being accused as "witches" in the negative sense. Dancers deserve to have the title of athlete, to start, take a look at the definition of an athlete "a person trained or gifted in exercises or contests involving physical agility, stamina, or strength" (dictionary). While dancing requires great artistry, artistry is just one aspect of dance, because there is clearly an athletic side as well. Dancers athletic side is not seen by many because of the reality of what is seen on stage, but is what is seen on stage all of it? The amount of passion and dedication dancers have leads to countless hours at the studio every week. With the many genres of dance to choose from, each involve athleticism one way or another. The many different options make it easier for a dancer to branch out and explore new ways of fulfilling their dreams. • 60. Ceice Brown Prologue Prologue Cece Brown was not scared, not even a little. She was a very strong girl, people had often thought, but even now they expected her to be at least a little nervous. Cece was standing at the edge of a group of witches and wizards, her face wiped of any emotion she may feel inside. As the people of the group sometimes neared her, she would glare at them, her eyes piercing into theirs; a silent declaration to say, "I do not like you." The underground compound of the WWA she was in was decorated with banners and flags. It was a very special date, the day in which the next Head would be chosen. A small group of witches and wizards stood in the middle of a raised platform located in the center of the room. They were almost ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Their mouths hung open in surprise as the former dead Joseph sat up, alive and well. There was a scar on his neck from the wound he had died from. A giant dog had torn him apart, the greatest loss of blood coming from his jugular vein in his throat. Cecelia could tell that is how he died, the evidence was obvious, but that didn't stop everybody to be so surprised at a ten–year–old witch performing such a high–level spell such as Necromancy. Necromancy was usually only used in the Choosing Ceremony. It was illegal if used elsewhere without the Head's permission. To bring someone back from the dead using Necromancy was an extremely high leveled magic spell, and the user risks losing their life as they perform it. A witch or wizard uses their own life energy and willpower to bring back a person, animal, or other creature from the dead. This is risky. If the caster fails the spell and uses too much life force, they tend to die. But of course, Cecilia already knew this. It was all in the special book. Cecilia helped the man up. His blond hair was covered with bits of blood and dirt and his clothes were tattered and torn to shreds. He probably never got a proper funeral, Cecilia inferred as she analyzed his ... To perform this charm you must speak the incantation clearly which is Lumos (LOO–mos) while you swirl your wand in a singular counter–clockwise loop. This spell is mainly used if in a dark corridor or if you simply can't find something. Also this charm is used in government to cast votes. The light produced from the charm will get brighter and brighter depending on how much force or willpower you put into casting this charm. The color could start as a pearly white color and if you deepen your willpower it could end up as a lemon yellow color. The next charm I will mention is the levitation charm. I find this charm one of the most helpful because you can use it in so many ways. To ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 64. Short Story "What spell?" Draco asked. "A paternity spell devised generations back by a Malfoy who feared his betrothed had been unfaithful. It's been used ever since," Lucius admitted. "When were you planning to tell me about this?" Draco asked. This, frankly, would have been useful information to have. "It wasn't necessary until now. But it exists, and I can cast it upon her to establish proof of paternity." This news was reassuring. Granger had been certain enough about the baby's paternity, but absolute proof would make him feel a lot better. He'd already begun to feel rather possessive of the witch, and he didn't want to have to worry about Weasley snatching her and the baby away. "It won't hurt the baby, will it?" he asked.
