David Lobato presented a project plan to cook six different Mexican meals including ceviche, chiles rellenos, flautas, carne asada, albondigas, and pollo con crema y champinones. He chose this topic because he loves cooking and Mexican food. His field expert was Maria Asuncion Lobato Solis, whom he chose because of her experience and cooking abilities. The purpose of the project was for David to learn cooking techniques, appreciation for cooking, ability to plan, and patience as he was born eating Mexican food and wanted to become a better cook to help him later in life.
