• Ordinarily consists of 3 members
• 2 speaker & 1 researcher
• In case of 2 members one of the member acts as
researcher

• Passing chits in case the speaker gets struck while
presenting case

11. GENERAL STRUCTURE OF A
MOOT
• Day 1 – Orientation and Researcher Test
• Day 2 – Preliminary round & Quarter Final
• Day 3 – Semi Final & Final

• Preliminary –
You will have 2 rounds inside it,
One from Petitioner and other from Respondent,
Points will be allotted on basis of winning rounds
14. IDEAL STRATEGY FOR A
MOOT
• Start Preparing as soon as you decide to participate
• Researcher should study & explain facts of case
within 3 days
• Every Team member should have a printed copy of
Preposition and read it habitually
• Start Drafting memorial early as possible after 3-4
discussions

• Try to complete Summary of Argument, Arguments
advanced and Prayer a week before last date of
submission
• Keep Practicing your arguments till a day before
competition
