When researching different magazines I found that a lot had similar looking front covers, especially
the rock ones. They were all much clustered with pictures, bold writing and offers, however when I
looked at Clash magazine it was very different. I only had one solitary picture and a very defined bold
title across the top. Also the cover isn’t cluttered which makes it look slick and professional, the
cover lines are quite small and tucked away in one corner which adds to the sophistication of this
cover.
Another thing I found interesting is that the main image, although it’s centred like most magazines,
the man is not directly addressing the reader which is uncommon.
I’m hoping to use some if not most of the features of this front cover on my magazine.
