Coldplay are a successful alternative rock band formed in 1996 consisting of lead vocalist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Johnny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion. They achieved worldwide success with their single "Yellow" and first album. Their 2002 album "A Rush of Blood to the Head" featured hit songs like "Clocks" and "The Scientist" and reached number one in many charts worldwide. The album's artistic cover art featured a 3D scanned half face with added spikes.

rock albums. The 3D face used in this album cover was created
by scanning a woman face in a 3D scanner. Only half of the face
Is one it because only 30 centimetres could be scanned. The
spike that come of the face were added on afterwards .It was then
chosen by royal mail to feature in there 10 iconic album covers
and would feature on a special edition of Stamps. The album
reached number 1 in many album charts across the world.
