distribute your media product and
why?”

2.  There are two different types of media industries i.e. main stream and
independent films. Main stream are more of an American based industry
which produces many blockbusters. There are six mainstream institutions
which are called Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers,
21st Century Fox, Sony Entertainment and Walt Disney/Touch Stone.
Whereas independent institutions are mainly for a smaller audience.
 Path and The UK Film Council are two of the many independent film
institutions.
 While the largest UK film company is "Working Title", and it would be a
very good company to distribute our film opening, Working Title only
produce high budget films, making it very unlikely that we would be able
to have them distribute our media product.
 Regardless, „Working Title‟ specialize in comedy films and rom- coms,
two genres which are identical to ours so therefore would suit our
audiences.

3.  That being said, „Warner Brothers‟ might be the
right kind of institution to distribute our media
product, because the films they have produced
mainly consist of comedies, rom-coms,
animations and dramas; such as:
 The Hangover, Cats And Dogs, Charlie And
The Chocolate Factory and The Aviator.
